I like the textured look of that hand-made paper, Seth.
Beautiful and so expressive!
"Gather dust to build a mountain!" What a great sentence.
Your work is so much filled with HOPE, that's what I like most of it. As if all these things are coming with the message: Carry on! It's worth it! Look for the challenge! Be in! Look out! Fly!
Just great!
Best, LaWendula

Wow Seth,
You're on a roll! Love the quotes.
All best to your dust ole self!
PS: that's dustY ole self!
I love mountains and mountain lore, or in this case mountain references. I live close to mountains and I stop and look at them every day. Their nuances in color and the feeling I get from them is something I never tire of. Great job. You have inspired me to try my hand at this! I have had a saying about mountains in my head, that a student was said to me that I have wanted to use. Think I will give it a try.
I worked and played outside today on the coolest July we have ever experienced in my lifetime...we all have our mountains to climb...one step at a time...and yet when we reach our goal or top of the mountain we discover the exhiliration (spelling) of personal flight if only in our hearts and minds. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart Gratitude for your generous supply of heart thoughts and images!
Your art is filled with such quiet joy. I especially love the quote about gathering dust. Thanks for visiting our blog as well.

Beth says it all...your work is filled with a quiet joy. I feel it every time I visit your blog.
I love proverbs from other countries so these ones appeal to me no end. One of the best I heard wad a Kiswahili saying: 'The day a monkey is destined to die, all the trees get slippery'.
I like your use of blues and greys.
Hey Seth, I loved your personal quote. wonderful work!
these are great and inspiring new pieces! i love the blues and the wonderful textured paper. did you make the paper too?

Just discovered your blog. It is colorful and inspiring! Just the way art blogs should be!

Seems you have been creating a lot of time for creativity. Good results!
Mountains to climb and the crests are places to dream. Enjoyed viewing your work as always, Seth.
Thanks for checking out our LK projects. Missed you there. Your new "blue period" is soothing and wonderfully textural at the same time.
Joy
Hope and Fly .We all have a message. We just have to speak out.
Love your work as always,

i know someone who would really like this......
we just did the highest point in IL. haha! around 1250 feet. We decided we're going to try to hit the highest points in all 50 states. Actually, not me, as I am pretty sure that I will only attempt the easy ones. No Mt. Rainier summits for me!! :) But I'll tag along the easy ones.
keeping my fingers crossed that gather dust is still for sale when I get back to school next month... I love it!!
"Mountain Crossing" is my favorite Seth.
