I love mountains and mountain lore, or in this case mountain references. I live close to mountains and I stop and look at them every day. Their nuances in color and the feeling I get from them is something I never tire of. Great job. You have inspired me to try my hand at this! I have had a saying about mountains in my head, that a student was said to me that I have wanted to use. Think I will give it a try.
I worked and played outside today on the coolest July we have ever experienced in my lifetime...we all have our mountains to climb...one step at a time...and yet when we reach our goal or top of the mountain we discover the exhiliration (spelling) of personal flight if only in our hearts and minds. I love proverbs from other countries so these ones appeal to me no end. One of the best I heard wad a Kiswahili saying: 'The day a monkey is destined to die, all the trees get slippery'.

i know someone who would really like this......
we just did the highest point in IL. haha! around 1250 feet. We decided we're going to try to hit the highest points in all 50 states. Actually, not me, as I am pretty sure that I will only attempt the easy ones. No Mt. Rainier summits for me!! :) But I'll tag along the easy ones.
keeping my fingers crossed that gather dust is still for sale when I get back to school next month... I love it!!
