Here is my desk very early this morning. I haven't been near it since Sunday so it's a bit of mess as things have just been dumped amongst the bits and pieces that I was doing on Saturday.
The pieces from last week's WOYWW are there, no further than they were and my journal is the WIP I was working on. I intended to do a layout for each month and this was January. With the way things have changed in just a week though I'm now going to do a daily diary taking some photos each day with what's going on and what is good about the day. We are living through history at the moment and it'll be done for GSCE no doubt in 50 years time.
So here are my photos from yesterday.
Washing drying outside.....DD came home from Uni on Sunday with all her stuff so I have mountains of washing but it's so good to have her home I don't care.
And the first new blossom on the cherry tree.
Well that's me today. If you want to join in with this lovely, friendly bunch of Deskers, then pop over to see Julia, at a safe distance of course, and join up HERE.
Stay Safe and Happy Crafting

Glad your daughter is safely home from uni Lisa. I have to go into school three days next week. It may be less as there are fewer pupils than expected coming in at the moment. Good luck with the journaling. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #10
Hi Lisa. Glad your daughter got home safely. Even though she has managed to drown you in laundry! I like he idea of taking regular photos. We may not notice the beautiful progress of the seasons otherwise. Well done.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

What a brilliant idea that is taking a daily photo of this Covid 19 era, you're right to do that because the days are whizzing by so fast, we'll forget what is was we were getting up to! No sooner am I getting out of bed than it seems it's time to get back in! Hope you don't have to go in to school unless necessary - I do take my hat off to all those folk who are still working.

Hi Lisa, indeed this is an historic time, recording it in a diary, with pictures is such a good idea, My Grandson is also home from UNI, and GD is of course now not in school either, although she'd been sent home to isolate due to Immuno conditions. Stay safe,Have a good week, Huge hugs, Shaz #1 X
Hi Lisa, I'm a bit surprised at some schools there are so few pupils but I think some parents of Key workers have kept them home anyway. That's a great idea to journal what's happening. My hubby has done his exam moderation training on line and is now waiting for further instructions though I can't imagine he will be doing any visits this year. You enjoy the extra time with your daughter. Sending you best wishes for a happy and creative woyww, Angela x3x
Hi Lisa, you must be like us in not liking strong tea! I told my husband we had to draw the line at 4 mugs from one teabag :)
I could get on to Julia's today so here is my link: https://craftingwithjack.blogspot.com/2020/03/woyww-564-and-getting-slammed.html
Our school is open but there only 4/5 pupils attending and as I have vulnerable family members - i am staying home just answering the odd email or two. I have made my lot keep a daily diary and have printed out a few photos for them to stick in . Enjoy having your daughter home. Take Care and keep safe. soojay #21
Glad your daughter got home safely. your teapot is a good idea to eke out the teabags I've been going through quite a bit working from home! Great idea to document the days.... will make interesting reading in years to come. Helen #5
I am working remotely from home but am limited to what I can do without my files and some equipment. I have a lot of free time on my hands and have been going through unfinished projects. I love your photos and your desk. I’ve been taking photos of what my family has been doing during this time and we’re getting pretty clever. We just watched live video’s of an aquarium and a zoo. My granddaughter loved it! Take care and stay healthy. Dorlene #32
Must be such peace of mind knowing your daughter is home safely. My desk only changes slightly from week to week and then bang I start doing something like making paint and the whole desk is disrupted. Enjoy you tea (Yorkshire I hope :)). Stay safe and keep crafting.

Sorry I’m late Lisa, I seem to have more time and erm, less time! Happy for you to have your daughter at home, and not a little jealous. I asked mine if she and her partner would like to self isolate at their ‘proper’ home with me and got some very strange looks. Ah well. It’s been a good week for washing, and doesnt it look marvellous floating on a line in the sun. I took a photo of the same sight yesterday! Ive actually been using my desk this week, off an on, so it has stopped the dumping of stuff...but there’s now a scattering of GKW across the dining table, so it hasn’t actually gone away! Like the idea of dairying things now...especially as if it’s left to history to interpret the media reaction, that generation will think we were all a bunch of hysterical greedy monsters with some good doctors and nurses!
Hi Lisa, Hope you're staying safe and you must be relieved that your daughter is home from Uni - even if she is keeping you busy with the washing!

A nice busy desk, Lisa. I always make tea in a pot because it tastes so much better. I always only use 1 bag because both my hubby and I like it weak. I had to buy a new larger sized teapot recently because a broke my beautiful old plain white one that poured like a dream - I was so cross with myself! The new one is nice, but it doesn't pour nearly so well. I use the small pot when it's just me.
Keep safe and well and happy belated WOYWW,

Some peace to know families are together during this time. I love your tea pot, my favorite color. I do like tea, chia has been the past few days. Good Idea on the daily posts, who would believe what our world is going thru. Here in our rural area everything is closed (not grocery stores but it's all take out food, gas/convenience stores) We are using up our freezer vegetables, meats frozen goodies. No doubt this week will do a quick store visit. Just the 2 of us so keep updated via internet/phone calls. I enjoy my quiet time creating but would love some sunshine. It's been fog/rain/grey skys long enought. Monday 60's and SUNSHINE May you and yours stay safe, blessing sent your way
Hi Lisa, what a blessing to have your Daughter home amazing how even hanging out the washing can bring joy to so many. The daily diary sounds like a grand idea, it's a time no one will forget in a hurry. Take care & stay safe Tracey #19
