Animal Crackers

Afternoon lovely Bloggers. It's a sign the schools have broken up for Easter, the weather has changed back to grey, cool and damp. Lets hope it brightens up for the weekend at least. We have lots of garden plans to be put into action but they'll all be put on hold if it rains!!!

During the gorgeous weather last week I had some DT projects on the go for Sheena Douglasss and kept popping inside to do a bit in between the sunbathing!!

I can share them with you now as Sheena will be releasing them on Create and Craft tomorrow so look out for her shows.

They are called "A Little Bit Different" and I bet they make you smile.

I love this duck, coming from the Midlands "Me Ducks" is a term of endearment close to my heart.

Well, short and sweet from me today, I'm trying to catch up on all the jobs that went by the wayside last week due to the sunshine so thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week.

All fabulous! I too have a favourite in the Duck one. I am hoping the weather holds as Meg and I are heading to Lynne's for a couple of days, so I will miss Sheena tomorrow. Looking forward to some fresh air, but preferably without snow!

Great work Lisa - I do love seeing the little lambs frolicking in the fields around Easter time, so have to say, the 4 Ewe is my favourite. Took my brain cell a couple of minutes to realise there are actually FOUR Ewes on the image - dho!
Hope the weather improves for the school hols. - have a great time.
Hugs, Sylvia xx

Ooo I love these - very witty!!! I think the Silly Moo is my favourite.

It's still glorious sunshine here in Devon today but we are told we will have showers tomorrow. We certainly need the rain as it has been such a dry winter and the reservoirs are low.

I have ordered many a plant for my shady fence border from an on-line nursery specialising in plants for shady - I think they are arriving tomorrow!!! Woohoo! Can't wait to get them into the eart!!

All fabulous Lisa.

No dampness here yet, but certainly dulled over and still frost every night, it's only missed two in the last fortnight so amazing the shrubs are looking so beautiful.

In answer to your question, yes that variety of Mahonia is still in full bloom, it's quite a late variety and totally different habit to the usual ones.

Ha love those cards Lisa. I could actually do with a bit of rain here, not too keen on the weather coming up (cold and maybe even snow on the moors) I have got tomato and pepper plants in the greenhouse! Lettuce looking good at the moment outside! Jill x

I love the look of these new stamps especially the duck one. Oh Duck brings another phrase to mind for me though so I could be having fun with that one. Have set tomorrows shows to record as I won't be here.
Brilliant cards.

Your greenhouse is looking a real hive of activity - I hope all those babies will stay safe during the cold snap!

These cards made me laugh so much - like the duck but the Silly Moo is my favourite as that's what I call myself when I've done something particularly dumb!!
Blimey but you've had some weather oop north - bonkers, isn't it? march breaks all the records then it all goes pear shaped. I'm just thankful that I didn't plant too much in the garden last week!
Hugs, LLJ #7 xx
