First Day of School 2015

The first day of school always comes way too quick....especially when you have to start on the 5th of August.  The kids picked out what they were going to wear and I thought it was funny that it is pretty much the exact same outfit they wore on the last day.  Definitely a favorite in their wardrobe.

Ok, back to the first day... This was the first year Matt has been able to be home and go with to take the kids to their first day. So that was really fun!

1st Day of School August 2015 - Same Outfit as the last day of School. 

With out fail, every year, the first day of school pictures are a struggle!  The sun is right in the wrong spot. lol!

I love/hate watching them walk...filled with anxiety and excitement for the unknown!!!

Elena had a rough start and as we were walking through the grass, she got bit by some ants.  But she got a hold of herself....meeting a new friend definitely helped.

The kids loved having dad there to give them big hugs goodbye on their first day of 6th and 3rd grade.


I don't know why, but I always get a little emotional sending them off, even when its not the first day of school.  I am just so dang proud of them, it makes me tear up thinking how amazing they are!!

Me and some of my friends may have Jumped for Joy!!!It was supposed to be in slow motion, but foursome reason when I uploaded to blogger, it went back to normal. lol!
