Airbags

Good ol' laundry basket driving!
This wasn't the first or second time a basket has been used for a vehicle, but it was the first experience with air bags! (Lucky for Kai)

Then it got real serious with wheels!

What a fun/crazy life being the littlest brother.  He doesn't know it any different.

Toothless...FINALLY!!

It seems as though EVERY kid has lost at least one tooth, if not eight (ahem-Sophie!!), that Cruz knows.  He has said to me in the past, multiple times, "When am I ever going to get a loose tooth??" or "I'm never going to lose a tooth."  I assure him that the time will come...
{July 22}
The time has arrived!!  Cruz realized that HE had a loose tooth!  He couldn't have been more excited.  With the excitement, I would have imagined him wiggling that bugger 24/7.  Well, that wasn't the case. I guess he was thrilled to have a "loose" tooth, not a missing tooth.  A few WEEKS later, (after bugging Beau to attach his tooth to a door & slam it multiple times), Cruz's tooth was finally loose enough to doing something about it.  Leave it to Daddy to add a new twist to the crazy tooth loosing madness that occurs at our house...we now have the "Coconut Drop Method".  Here is a little video for entertainment purposes...
{August 28}

After one quick drop, it was out!  Cruz was thrilled!  Oshyn gave him the tooth pillow to use and he tucked his pearly white under his pillow.  Then he decided to write the tooth fairy a note telling her he'd like to keep his tooth to show his teacher.

The next morning I heard some chatter from the boys room.  Oshyn sounded just as excited as Cruz when Cruz showed him a note and the dollar bill, "I got a note when I lost my first tooth too!!!"

Here's to another mouth full of holy gaps and upcoming lisps.  I think he already has another loose tooth.

Friday Night

I love that it is Friday night and all 4 boys are home with me...and want to be :)  I am soaking it all up now because I'm sure it won't last forever.

UP

I seem to find this guy upon just about anything...

Kai boy loves to say go go go!, signs "More" as he says it, and yells, "MOM!"  He likes when people chase him, hates diaper changes and has become a yeller when things don't go his way.  He can climb anything and when it's quiet and I can't find him I just look in the bathroom because he is usually standing on a stool brushing his teeth with someone else's toothbrush.  Kai babbles a lot and is really starting to walk everywhere.  He blows on hot food and is intrigued by barking dogs.

Twilight Swim

Two-a-days NEVER felt better!!  I am really enjoying living close to the water I love so much.  I'd say "stoked to be here" is appropriate for how I feel. :)

Half day EVERY Wednesday

Every week the boys get a short day on Wednesdays.  This has become our field trip day.  We decided to get an annual pass to the Polynesian Cultural Center.  The PCC does not disappoint!

We visited Fiji...
These warriors are intense!

and New Zealand...

More tatoos for these gents.  Boy were they sad when they washed off!

We ended the field trip with some more culture--Spam Musubi :)

We love our half days!!

Toy flusher

Kai just became KAINOA.  We use his full name when he's in trouble.  This mini man doesn't care if a toilet lid is shut.  He lifts lids, sticks things in, and watches them go down.  Sounds fun and cute eh?
Well, you know its bad when the plumber has to take off the toilet and still can't retrieve it...

It took a professional over 2 hours to get the darn little round happy crayon thingy out.  I guess taking off the camode and blasting a hose through it sometimes does the trick!
Lucky for Kainoa, I'm sure it was all in innocent fun.  You'd better keep your bathroom doors shut when we come over!

First Day

Cruzer--Big 1st Grader
O--4th Grader

Ready to start!
After school--They survived!
The boys were really excited to start school and make friends.  I think they were a tad nervous, but they both handled the big change really well.  They came home excited about the year.  Oshyn and Cruz both really liked their teachers.  They were super pumped that they get to wear slippers to school :)

1st year "home" schooler :)
3rd year "home" schooler :)
Tyce was really excited that this year he will be staying home everyday with me!  He keeps telling people that his playground is the beach.  Not too shabby if you ask me!
(Kai didn't say much but looks like he may survive too!)
First home school activity...Putting these guys to work!
Here's to the beginning of another school year!

Comfort shopping

Going "back to school" shopping can be long and a little boring.  These guys made sure they made it as comfortable as possible!
