Cakes and Conference

I finished my fondant and tiered cakes decorating class with the finale as a tiered fondant cake. Three tiers with fondant roses and leaves, red velvet cake. I was happy with the final product.


We served the cake at a brunch we had at our house for General Conference. We had gourmet belgian waffles topped with fruit and homemade whipped cream. Yum.


The week before, we got free Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory for participating in a food drive. Here's proof - we're in their mosaic. We hit up the radio station booth and also took away a Daughtry CD (limited choices) and Gossip Girl Season 1. It was a fun morning.
