Independence Day
July 4, 1969
Kasabian meets Gypsy and Tex.
Tex gives Kasabian a super orgasm which he calls ego death.
Linda tells Tex about Melton and his $5k.
She agrees to steal it and does on the 5th.
Charlie approves of Linda's legs.
Linda moves in with Tex.
(Of course we have only the self serving, Bug designed testimony for a true timeline. But even from day one Linda feels more like TEX'S Girl. Seems more likely that Tex wanted her there not Charlie. And you can scream you didn't know what was going to happen all you fucking like, a definite clue was Tex climbing up the phone pole. An incontrovertible clue is Tex shooting and slashing Parent. I mean at that point, self delusion or not I am running down Cielo Drive as fast as I can. Not Linda.)
Independence Day for Linda from her husband and Happy Day to all of us!

Maybe Yana told them the Facts?
TONYA CHRISTIAN (F.K.A. KASABIAN)
v.
BARRICADE BOOKS, INC.
The opinion of the court was delivered by: Paul Barbadoro, Chief Judge.
MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
Tonya Christian filed this civil action seeking compensatory damages from Barricade Books, Inc. for defamation and invasion of privacy. Barricade moves to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction. (Doc. No. 12). For the reasons set forth below, I grant Barricade's motion.
I. BACKGROUND
Barricade, a New York corporation, conducts its book publishing business principally from offices located in New Jersey. The company has no New Hampshire offices. It does not have any employees or agents who work in the state. Nor does it target New Hampshire in its marketing efforts.
Christian, is a 35 year-old resident of Rochester, New Hampshire. She is the daughter of Linda Kasabian, a one-time follower of Charles Manson who, along other members of Manson's "family," murdered the actress Sharon Tate.
In 1999, Barricade entered into an agreement with Greg King to publish his book, Sharon Tate & the Manson Murders. The book is a biography of Tate which purports to describe the "[s]trange connections between Sharon Tate, the Hollywood elite and Charles Manson's so-called `family'. . . ." Def.'s Mot. to Dismiss. King makes the following statement about Christian in the book's epilogue:
On October 24, 1996, members of the Tacoma, Washington Police Department served a search warrant on the apartment owned by Kasabian's daughter Tanya [sic], known to authorities as "Lady Dangerous." Kasabian, as well as Tonya's two young children, were present when the police arrived. Their report stated: "In the master bedroom (defendant's bedroom) officers located a small baggie containing suspected rock cocaine and a large bundle of cash in a dresser drawer. On top of the dresser was a bunch of baggies. Also in the room officers located a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, electronic scales, a plate with cocaine residue, and another bundle of cash . . . Tanya [sic], found guilty of possession of controlled substances, was sentenced to a year in state prison.Christian charges that this statement mistakenly confuses her with her sister, Quanu and is defamatory because she has never been convicted of possession of a controlled substance.

THe Nadir of Nader
Over at the fun evilliz blog there was a lot of discussion a few weeks back about the significance of Saladin Nader the "actor" (I guess so he was in two films no one can see right now... I guess Gypsy and Bobby are actors too, they were in more films than that.) and after reflecting a bit I finally tweaked to what the problem with him in the official story is.
We question things here at the only Official Blog and we double question anything BUG says.
The only testimony about Nader is from Kasabian. Nobody else ever addressed him. So what she says gets taken as gospel. Except we know she lied and back pedaled to save her own ass. She did exactly what BUG demanded. Was STILL doing it as recently as the Larry King show a few years ago.
Her testimony, as coached by BUG, serves two purposes
1- Shows Charlie OUTRIGHT ORDERING a murder.
2- Shows Linda being damn heroic preventing his death.
We know both of these are untrue. On neither night do we have ANY OTHER testimony of Charlie telling anyone to kill someone. And when given the chance to be a true hero and drop a dime on August 10, Linda does nothing of the kind.
So what really happened with the Nader incident? Venice is fucking FAR from Los Feliz. Why drive there to kill a piggy? It is even further from Sylmar!
My honest guess is that Linda VOLUNTEERED someone she would love to see offed. Got there and he wasn't there or she was too high to find the right door. And so they said fuck it and left. I mean, if you wanted to kill just ANY pig how about the poor bastard who answered the door?
Nader NEVER made sense in her version. Still doesn't.

Once Upon a Midnight Dreary...
(been busy, will try to have more for you even though there doesn't seem to actually BE very much new)
So I am more convinced than ever than ever that Linda Kasabian knows more about what happened than she is letting on. And I theorize that she maybe did NOT know when the case was happening but that she knows now. Through the trials. Through the coaching of the BUG. Through just living the lie.
Think about it. Remember we all were shocked when Bug openly coached and corrected her on Larry King last summer? How obvious and fucked up was that?
But if you are going to sell the lie, as BUG did , then you need to make sure that the liars go along with the lie. And at some point that means they need to learn the truth. Otherwise how can you avoid it?
Amirite? I mean, when you tell your mom you weren't out all night you do so fully knowing what you WERE doing.
Long time readers know I think she should have gotten the chair like the rest of them. That there isn't an honest bone in her body. But in order to be successfully DIShonest doesn't she have to know at least some of the truth?

Yana Repeats Her Tales
History to tell 'Manson' story
Family's lookout driver featured in Sept. 7 special
By James Hibberd
July 27, 2009, 11:00 PM ET
For the 40th anniversary of the shocking Hollywood murder spree, the network has scheduled the two-hour "Manson" on Sept. 7. It features an extensive interview with Linda Kasabian, who stood guard while her fellow cult members murdered actress Sharon Tate and others.
The star witness for Manson's prosecution, the reclusive Kasabian hasn't been extensively interviewed since an "A Current Affair" special on the 20th anniversary of the murders in 1989.
The special recounts the nine months leading up to what Manson dubbed Helter Skelter, a two-night murder spree that he and his LSD-addled followers thought would incite a race war.
Susan Werbe, Nick Godwin and Simon Lloyd will executive produce the special.

Yana Kites
So this is something none of us knew- Linda went so far as to fuck up dumb Sadie. Nice lady.
From LA MAG
-----
Manson Family member Susan Atkins, aka Sadie Mae Glutz, broke the case when she told fellow jail inmates at the Sybil Brand Institute the details of the Tate and LaBianca murders. Initially the prosecution intended to call Atkins as its star witness, but the deal fell apart. The explanation typically given for the collapse is twofold. First, Atkins provided an account of the crime to the Los Angeles Times, thereby polluting the jury pool. Second, she fell back under the sway of Manson. Both stories are true. However, there was also something else

First, Atkins provided an account of the crime to the Los Angeles Times, thereby polluting the jury pool. Second, she fell back under the sway of Manson. Both stories are true. However, there was also something else
GARY FLEISCHMAN, Linda Kasabian’s lawyer. Now 75, he practices in Northern California. Linda Kasabian had seen them committing mayhem at the Tate house. She had driven the killers to the LaBianca residence, but she hadn’t done anything. Still, she was technically guilty of first-degree murder. I said to her, “You’re broke. You’re pregnant, and you were there. You must become a prosecution witness.” The prosecution already had Sadie. I call her Sadie, but her name is Susan Atkins. She was an active participant in the murders and was going to testify against Manson. I told Linda, “Sadie is flaky, and they’re gonna sell her out before it’s done. They promised her no death penalty, but they will screw her over. She killed people. We have to help this process along.” I told Linda, “You start passing Sadie kites.” A “kite” is a letter that goes into the prison system. I said, “Hand her a kite and talk Charlie-talk to her.” Linda knew exactly what I meant. Charlie Manson always spoke in these sort of backward riddles. So I told Linda, hand Sadie some kites that say, “Your lawyer is the D.A., the D.A. is your lawyer, the D.A. is Charlie, Charlie is selling you out, and you’re being sold.” So Linda starts passing these kites to dumb Susan Atkins. This goes on for a couple of months, and Susan clams up. She ain’t gonna say anything else to help the prosecution. They have to find somebody else to testify.
One day Aaron Stovitz, the head of the trial division, called me. He said, “I want to talk to you.” I said, “I’m going to get my hair cut at the barbershop at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. Come on over.” So he drives out, and he makes me an offer. A very strange confluence of events had occurred. They needed Linda Kasabian, and she needed them. They gave her total immunity. They couldn’t make their case without this girl.
Linda Kasabian wasn’t scared of Charles Manson at all. She wasn’t built that way. She was a flower child. The Family started bugging me to get her not to testify, pestering me. Lynette Fromme, you know, Squeaky, was sent by Manson to see me. She would come and sit in my office. One day I threw her out physically. She only weighed about 90 pounds. She looked like a rat. Another woman, Catherine Share, who was even weirder, would also show up. She played the violin. I just saw her on television—she looks like a matron today, very pretty lady. Squeaky and Share kept showing up. So finally one night we went to the jail to see Linda, and they confronted her. They said, “You should be one with us.” And Linda answered, “I am one with myself, and that’s all.” That was the end of that.
