Hey all!
I'm here to share a fun little card I made based on a sketch from this week's Mojo Monday entry. I also used a few new sets of mine that are up in my Etsy shop.
Here is the sketch I used:
And here is my take on it:
The owls are from my "Snowy Owl" set which was another collaboration between my sister and I.
I printed everything and then cut the pieces with my Silhouette. The snowflake paper and sentiment are from another owl set called "Winter Owls". The berries are glittered with diamond glaze and ArtC glitter my husband bought me as a stocking stuffer for Christmas last year (A man that buys me glitter? *swoon*). I added a rhinestone to the sentiment for a little sparkle and then finished it off with a dupioni silk ribbon bow.
Here are the full sets that I used:
Also, I have been experimenting with printing on vintage book pages using some of my vintage flower and fruit illustrations and did these pieces for my boss to hang in her home.
Won't these be just gorgeous framed and hung side by side? It was super easy to do, I just taped the vintage book page in the middle of a piece of copy paper (make sure your tape isn't too sticky or it will tear the paper) and ran it through my inkjet printer.
Thats all for now, thanks for dropping by and be sure to enter this week's Mojo Monday contest!
Images/Sets used:
- little owls, branch: "Snowy Owls"
- sentiment, snowflake paper: "Winter Owls"
- vintage peaches printable art
- vintage pomegranate printable art
- vintage pear printable art.

Sihouette Sketch Challenge
Hey All!
I'm here today to share a little Silhouette project with you that I made using the sketch over at the Silhouette Blog.
I created this card using my Showers and Flowers clipart set. You can get the set as a .svg file which you can then easily manipulate in Silhouette Studio. I used a tag and border shape from the Silhouette store and then made my own washi shape by just taking a rectangle and giving it some ragged edges using the knife tool. Then I filled it with some cute paper from my Carnival Stripes Collection.
I printed the sentiment and dotted white line on the tag and cut everything out. The tag, cloud, and star were popped up with pop dots and then I added a touch of sparkle on the star with diamond glaze and Martha Stewart glitter. The whole thing was super easy thanks to my Silhouette!
Ingredients:
- cardstock: Conqueror
- Sentiment, cloud: Showers and Flowers by TanglesTreasures
- Patterned Paper: Carnival Stripes by TanglesTreasures
- Tag, Border: Silhouette Store
- extras: vintage ribbon, diamond glaze, Martha Stewart Glitter

Robot Clipart freebie and Mojo Monday
Hey All!
I'm here today to announce some more new sets that are a collaboration with the fabulously talented Rachel Land. Rachel is a children's book illustrator and happens to also be my best friend and sister. She has collaborated with me before and is back to bring you some exciting new image sets.
The first set is a series of adorable robots (or "adorobots" as I call them). These images would be perfect for any little boy but are versatile enough to span a multitude of purposes and occasions. I made a card using one of the images inspired by this week's sketch over at the Mojo Monday blog. Here is the sketch:
And here is my take on it:
Here is the full set of images: They all come as .png files with transparent backgrounds or as one .svg file for you to play with.
The second set is a series of equally adorable owls:

BBTB2 on the farm challenge
Hey All!
I'm here with another fun project for this week's BBTB2 challenge. The wonderfully talented Krista Norman is giving us the challenge to make a project using a farm animal cut. I looked through all the farm animal shapes I have and fell in love with this rooster from the Wall Decor and More Cricut cartridge. I decided to create a simple background using one of my new Vintage French Frame images printed on some craft cardstock with a French sentiment. This set includes 6 frames restored from an antique stencil catalogue. It took all of 5 minutes to put this card together and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I just cut out 2 roosters and attached them using some dimensional foam adhesive and voila! my card was complete.
Be sure to pop on over to the BBTB2 blog to check out all the wonderful creations of my DT sisters.
