Wow!

Wow! Its hard to believe I haven't posted in over a week but I've been busy enjoying my time at the theater! Now that the show has closed sniff-sniff,  hopefully I can back to my routine of creating and sharing what I've made with you.  For my card today I used the Penny Black clear stamp set Good Day! Seems like time off hasn't changed my love for critters!

A Tweet Thank You

Thanks so much for hanging in there with me! Its been crazy busy! My youngest daughter is a cast member of The Addams Family, a ridiculously funny musical and I am helping back stage! But for someone that has a confirmed 8 o'clock bedtime, going to bed after midnight six nights in a row is putting the hurts on me, big time! But I love the theater and I'm so glad to be part of all the magic that can only happen in live theater.

My card today features one of the stamps from Bird Crazy by Tim Holtz.  All of the birds in this set makes me laugh, which is a very healthy exercise!

Scrapy Land Challenge #9

Welcome to Scrapy Land Challenge #9. The challenge is Anything Goes using a brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.  To create my tag, I turned the die to shorten the length of the banner cut from Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banner. Be sure to visit Scrapy Land Challenge for all the challenge details and to see what the other members of the design team have created and play along with us.

Look at all Scrapy Land sells!

Thankful for You

What has three windows and no door? My card today silly! Hmmm, guess you haven't had your coffee or its too early to think!  To create my card I used stamps from It's Fall About You and Seeing Spots from The Alley Way Stamps. I plan to enter the card in the BE Inspired Challenge #58, hosted by The Alley Way Stamps.

Vellum Feathers

I love vellum! For today's card I die cut two feathers out of vellum and used a stylus to shape and shade them then touched the edge with white embossing. The card was sent to an extremely special and wonderful son that was willing to drop everything to help his fabulous awesome mom!

You Float My Boat

My card today features You Float My Boat and matching die from Lawn Fawn and for the background I used Constellation from Hero Arts.  The card was sent to a dear friend who stepped up to the plate after my run in with Mother Nature and helped me until I was back on my feet! She truly was a lifesaver!

Veggin Out

With the exception of maybe a tomato plant in a pot, today's card is as close to a garden as I'm going to have since I have a very, very black thumb! Thanks to the adorable Veggin Out stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps, I can have perfect vegetables all year long!

Thank You!

It's hard to believe that we are about to bid 2013 farewell and welcome in 2014! So I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the support and friendship you have given me! My wish for you is to have a wonderful happy, healthy and prosperous new year!

Get MOOvin'

I needed a thank you card and I wanted to play along with The Alley Way Stamps Challenge so I used their cute cow from Get MOOvin' stamp set and created today's card. To make the image two sided, I first stamped the image, then added a piece of dental floss for it to hang and glued blank cardstock to it. Once the glue was dried, I used a marker to outline the image and then added some patches and attached its tail!

Thanks

I created today's card after watching a video by Jennifer McGuire, she definitely thinks outside of the box! I didn't have the same colors of ink, stamps or the same die that she used but I'm still pleased with the results!

Surprise Thank You

A very, very sweet friend sent me a clever crafting tool! A pewter spoon that is just perfect for sprinkling frantage! I thought it would be fun to make a pretty card front, complete with frantage, and a special fun surprise inside! If that sweet friend happens to see this post, thank you again!

Tuscan Sun and Lime Bricks

Today's card features more goodness from The PaperTemptress! The background and sentiment is RC Tuscan Sun cardstock with Lime Brickwall overlay. The vines were cut from Gumdrop Green 65# Pop Tones cardstock. Quick and easy to make but amazing results!
