Faux Inlaid Veneer Reindeer Tag
I admire the wood veneer inlaid die cut cards but since I didn't have the necessary veneer, I thought I'd make my own using good ole' cardstock! Close but not a home run!

We all know that Dr. Digi's House of Stamps is famous for his knee-slapping, laugh out loud images! But for today's card, I decided to used Bauble, the freebie that currently is up for grabs, and stretch it here and stretch it there to make a pretty card to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

All White Elegance
I think my card is very elegant but very easy to create. I started with Heavenly White 100# cardstock from the PaperTemptress for the card base and used a die to create a window and then dry embossed Heavy Duty Clear Vellum also from the PaperTemptress to cover the opening. Next using the same vellum I stamped the sentiment, the poinsettia and leaves twice and then white embossed them. Once they were cooled I cut a few of the petals apart and curled them to add dimension before layering them with the leaves. To complete the card I added pearls to its center.

Full Stocking
Christmas really is just around the corner! Time to gather your Squigglefly images and get busy! While you are at it, join this week's Squigglefly Challenge hosted by Rhonda Rowdy Rascals and show your Christmas spirit by using Christmas ribbon, paper or image. Be sure to use a Squigglefly image to be eligible to win and if you don't have an image, try using a freebie. For my card I used the super cute Full Stocking by Squigglefly's amazing artist, Fawn Palmer.
I am very fortunate and thrilled that with Squigglefly's help, my card found its way onto the cover and the complete how-to description in Issue 46 of Complete Cardmaking!

Lonely this Christmas
Look at the smile on Dr. Dig's House of Stamps humorous image, Lonely this Christmas! Even a snowman needs a friend! So the next time you build a snowman, don't just leave it standing alone, in the cold! Be a good sport and give it some quality time! A Christmas present would be good too!

Get MOOvin'
I needed a thank you card and I wanted to play along with The Alley Way Stamps Challenge so I used their cute cow from Get MOOvin' stamp set and created today's card. To make the image two sided, I first stamped the image, then added a piece of dental floss for it to hang and glued blank cardstock to it. Once the glue was dried, I used a marker to outline the image and then added some patches and attached its tail!

Phyllis the Festive Fairy
When we think of fairies they are usually tiny and youthful thanks to what we see on television and the movies. But truthfully, fairies are just like humans, they grow and advance in age! Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' delightful Phyllis the Festive Fairy started her career when she was very young and lithe. With time and age she has moved up the ranks to that of Festive Fairy! In a recent interview following her promotion she explained that she still loves her work but her new position requires her only to make visits to sprinkle love, joy and birthday wishes on those over the age of fifty! Have you had a visit from Phyllis? If not, before you know it, you will!
