Temple lights anyone??

Last night for young women we went to the DC temple(which is actually in Maryland) to see the lights. I loved it! The lights were fabulous and we also got to hear the best violin concert. Jenny Oaks Baker was performing at the visitors center and it was amazing! Almost all the young women came and we had a great time.
My ward growing up went to temple square to see the lights in Salt Lake each Christmas and I am glad that I get to continue the tradition all the way out here.

This picture is unfortunately not very clear but these are tulips. Lights that look like tulips, they were adorable!

I love the tulip lights too. We were so bored and alone last year at Christmas we went tons! But this year we were only able to go once. Did you watch the live nativity? Matt and I are so irreverent but we can't help giggling a little bit at it. The narrator's voice is so LOUD!

I wanted to go to the Jenny Oaks Baker--glad it was good!

I was in DC a few years ago over Christmas break and the temple was gorgeous! I remember seeing it all lit up from the freeway. What a beautiful place. I can't wait to see you guys in a few days!

The DC temple is beautiful! It was our temple when we lived in Boston. We took our young women up to the Oakland temple to see the lights and hear a hand bell concert last week!
