Simply Create Too -haasteessa on tällä kertaa aiheena kauniit naiset ja käytin tilaisuutta hyväkseni ja tein vintagetyylisen (tai shabby chic) äitienpäiväkortin. Kuva on Pion Designin ja paperit Maja Designin Vintage Spring Basics -lehtiöstä. Reunat on ressattu ja käsitelty lumiaineella. Pyöreä tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

We have a new challenge at Simply Create Too and the theme is pretty women. I made a vintage (or shabby chic) style card for Mother's Day. The image is from Pion Design and papers from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics pad. I've distressed the edges and put some glitter snow medium there too.

Osallistuin tällä kortilla Koukussa Kortteihin -yhteisön Vintagehaasteeseen, jossa oli aiheena tehdä onnittelukortti eläinihmiselle. Tein tämän kortin tytärpuolelleni, joka juuri otti kissanpennun kaveriksi vanhemmalle kissalleen.

Vintagehenkinen joulukortti Pion Designin enkelikuvalla. Taustalla on kohokuvioitua ColorCore-kartonkia, josta hioin turkoosin värin esiin.

A vintage style Christmas card with an angel image from Pion Design. I've embossed some ColorCore cardstock for the background and sanded the embossed parts to reveal the aqua color.

Vintage hääonnittelu / Vintage Wedding Card

Osallistuin tällä kortilla Koukussa kortteihin -sivuston vintagehaasteeseen, jossa oli teemana häät.
Käyttämäni paperit ovat My Mind's Eyen Lost & Found -sarjan Breeze-lehtiöstä ja vintagekuva on Pion Designin.

The papers I used in this card are from My Mind's Eye's Lost & Found Breeze paper pad. The vintage image is from Pion Design.

Shabby Chic Easter Box

Laatikon taitteluun käyttämäni paperit ovat Docraftsin Summer Bloom -lehtiöstä, vaalensin niitä gessolla. Kuva on Pion Designin, samoin orvokkiboordi laatikon kyljessä. Kuvan alle taittelin kakkupaperin, lisänä vain muutama valkoinen höyhen ja kukkia sekä pitsiä ja helmiä.

I folded the box with polka dots papers from Docrafts Summer Bloom pad and lightened them with gesso. The chick image is from Pion Design and there is a folded doily under it.

Vintagetyylinen pääsiäiskortti / Vintage Easter Card

Taustapaperi on Maja Designilta ja kuva Pion Designilta, kerrostin ekopaperilla. Paperien reunoille levitin Aleene's Glitter Snowta ja sulattelin vähän frantagea.

The paper is from Maja Design and the image from Pion Design, I've used kraft paper for layering. I smeared Aleene's Glitter Snow on the paper edges and melted some Frantage embossing powder in the background.

I did just that with my DT card, the papers are singles that I've got from somewhere along time ago, the flowers and Pion Design image are old stash. The sentiment says Congratulations so the card fits many occasions.

Vintagea helmillä ja pitsillä / Vintage With Lace And Pearls

Vintagekortti taas Pion Designin kuvalla, sulattelin reunoille frantage-kohojauhetta. Tummat paperit ovat Joy! Craftsin Back in time -lehtiöstä ja kukkapaperi Louise Tilerin suunnittelemasta Floral fantasy -lehtiöstä. Paperien reunat on ressattu ja mustetettu, surautinpa ompelukoneellakin vähän. Kokosin korupiikkiin helmiä ja helmihattuja, jotka kiinnitin glossylla.

Another vintage card. I melted some Frantage embossing powder around the pretty Pion Design image. The darker papers are from Joy! Crafts Back in time pad and the paper with flowers from Floral fantasy pad designed by Louise Tiler. I've distressed and inked all the edges and even dug out my sewing machine for some stitching.

GDT Askartelutaivaan Vintagehaasteessa / Guest Designer At A Vintage Challenge

Olen tänään ilmestyneessä Askartelutaivaan Vintagehaasteessa vierailevana DT:nä!
Kortissani käytin Pion Designin ihanaa vintagekuvaa ja J. K. Primecon Aino-lehtiön papereita. Reunat on ressattu ja mustettu, kuvan reunoille lisäsin vielä krakleerausainettakin. Ystävälle-tarran väritin ProMarkereilla sopivamman väriseksi, se oli alunperin hopeinen.

I'm a GDT member in a Finnish vintage challenge. I made this card using Pion Design's lovely vintage image and J. K. Primeco papers. I've distressed and inked the edges plus added some crackle medium to the image. The sentiment sticker was silver before I colored it with ProMarkers to suit my card better.

Koristelin jouluksi pussukan anopin lahjakorttia varten. Kuva on Pion Designin ja paperit DoCraftsin Home for Christmas -lehtiöstä. Lisäsin kuvaan frantage-jauhetta ja mustetta vähän sinne tänne.

I decorated this bag for my MIL, I'll hide a gift certificate in it for Christmas. The vintage image is form Pion Design and papers are from DoCrafts Home for Christmas pad. I've used Frantage embossing powder and inks to create a distressed look.

Pitkästä aikaa joulukortti Pion Designin suloisella vintagekuvalla. Paperit ovat DoCraftsin Signature-lehtiöstä, reunat on ressattu ja mustettu. Kuvan reunoille roiskin frantage-kohojauhetta ja rosetin tein kakkupaperista. Ihana tekstileimasin on Vilda Stampsin.

It's been a while since I posted the last Christmas card with Pion Design's sweet vintage image. The papers are form DoCrafts Signature paper pack, I've distressed and inked the edges. There's some Frantage embossing powder around the image. I made the rosette using a doily.

Isänpäivää / Father's Day

Isänpäivä on huomenna ja tänään esittelen omalle isälleni tekemäni kortin (hän ei lue blogiani, joten yllätys ei mene pilalle). Vintagekuva on Pion Designin ja valitsin nimeomaan tuon kuvan, koska se muistuttaa aika paljon itseäni pienenä. Paperit ovat Carta Bellan Well Traveled -lehtiöstä, reunat on ressattu ja mustettu. Kukat stanssasin kahvin suodatinpusseista. Pyöreä tekstileimasin on Circle Itin.

We celebrate Father's Day tomorrow here in Finland and today I'm sharing a card I made for my dad (he doesn't read my blog so it won't spoil the surprise). The vintage image is from Pion Design and I chose specifically this image because it resembles me when I was little. The papers are From Carta Bella Well Traveled pad, I've distressed and inked the edges. The flowers have been die cut from coffee filters.

Pieni lahjakin on ollut tapana antaa isänpäivänä, tällä kertaa paketoin sen tähän pieneen pussiin, jonka koristelin saman Carta Bella -lehtiön papereilla.

I made this little gift bag to go with the card. I used the same Carta Bella papers.
