My Favourite Activity

I love being outside so I can sniff the air 

and when I stretch out and feel the sun on my tummy



it makes me very happy.

I'm not keen on crazy days,

or hazy days,

but love the lazy days of summer.

My Gotcha Story

I was rescued along with Hannah and

100 other cats from one house by the RSPCA.

We were taken to their cattery and given our

lady operations and suffered lots of stabbing

with needles so we weren't going to be sick.

Mum came into the Cattery as her beloved Emma

had gone to Rainbow Bridge and she wanted to

make a home for another cat or two.

The above picture of us was taken on the day we

arrived in our furever home.


We had never known such peace and quiet

and we could go where we wanted!

Here I am on Mum's lovely quilt

it's where I snuggle with her and Hannah every night now

when she sits to watch some TV or to read,

but we'd never been loved before.



I hope every cat finds a loving home and has a full tummy.

What's in a Name?

Lucy is a female name meaning "LIGHT"

and it originated in Latin.

True to her name Lucy loves to be in the light

and spends lots of time looking upwards

through the conservatory roof to see if the sun

is going to shine on her.

She also likes to stand

on top of the roof looking up to it.

She sometimes sits on top 

of the garage gazing up at as if to stay please stay.

The Kittides of March

I am ashamed to show you this 

but it is my biggest enemy.

Mum loves her Dyson and praises it as 

 it noisily steals all my furs and eats them.

She tells me I am a silly girl but I'm scared

it will want my whiskers too or even worse

my tail!

Valentine's Day

I'm hoping I'll hear from my boyfriend

I wonder if he will remember

it's a special day.

My Holiday Wish

My holiday wish is simple yet hard to achieve

but I hope it will come true one day.

This is me the day after I had been adopted.

I was still very shy but it was lovely to be able

to sleep where I wanted in comfy places and have

a full tummy

I had never had toys of my own before

or be able to go outside and play

I hope one day all cats and kittens will have

warm and loving homes like me and my sister Hannah.

is that fact that Hannah hates it

and in fact she has never ever zoomed through it!

Our Ist Blogaversary

Fancy it's the First Anniversary today

of the Tabby Cat Club

We can't believe it has been a whole year

since the first post.
