A Birthday Shaker Kitty Card
Hello again. Well I have a fun card for today.
This card is very simple, but has a little twist that makes it fun. The Cupcake is a shaker.
Here is a close up.
I started out with a stamped image and colored with with copics. then I used and exact knife to cut out the "cake" part. Using a black marker, outlined the cutout. Then placed foam tape around the opening, added a few glittering elements and closed it up with a piece of white paper. Very simple.
The whole thing was mounted onto to an A2 card Base, added a sentiment that was heat embossed with clear powder, added a bow and it is ready for a Cat Loving Birthday recipient.
The stamp set that was used is: Kitty Sweets
Thank you for stopping by,

Kitty Sweets Card!
Hello, Britt Bass here to bring you a quick little post about a quick little card I made using Sweet Stamps' Kitty Sweets clear stamp set and Embossing Powder.
First, I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers and fussy cut him out. I wanted him to be wearing a little birthday hat, so I cut a triangle with a slightly rounded bottom out of a piece of patterned paper and outlined it with a black Memento marker to make it looked like it was stamped . I then colored around the black line with white gel pen - that gave the hat the same little white border as the cat. I attached the hat to my cat and added a button - cat complete!
I took a DCWV cardbase and three DCWV papers from the "Dots and Stripes" line and layered strips across the middle of the card, alternating colors within my color scheme. (Tip time! If you run your fingers under the edges of each layer it will give you some nice dimension without using pop dots! Just don't put adhesive all the way to the edges!)
Finally, I attached my cat to the card base and began working on my sentiment. I stamped the frame and the "Wishes for a great Birthday" sentiment and embossed them using Silver Fine Detail embossing powder and Black Fine Detail embossing powder - respectively. Once the senimtent was attached - the card was done!
I know that you all enjoyed the sketch I added to one of my posts last month, so I wanted to give you one for this card as well!
Now, don't forget to stop by Sweet Stamps for all your supplies this month!
Thanks for stopping by!

Flutterby Trio with Leah
I'm back some more sweet summer inspiration for you lol. See, I am stuck on summer, no way around it, might as well embrace it!
I had a lot of fun with this card, and it turned out so totally different from where it started. If you would like to see more details about how I created this card, please visit my blog at Ode to Paper.
For this project I used the Daisy Side rubber stamp, the Flutterby #2 Sweet Cuts die, a sentiment from the Kitty Sweets clear stamp set, and some wonderful Glastique! (I am totally in love with that stuff :)
You can find all of these products in the Sweet Stamps online shop, as well many more fun products that will spark your creativity.
Thanks for visiting, and check back often for more awesome inspiration from the new DT Sweeties!

Birthday Sweets
Aloha everyone! kel from Scraps & photoGRAFFS here again today!!
I made some super quick and easy 3"x3" gift cards to have on hand because I never seem to have enough!! Which is a funny thing to say aloud, considering how many cards I've made over this past year!!!

I used the dessert sweets and one of the sentiments from the Kitty Sweets Clear Stamps Set to make my cards. I couldn't decide at first if I wanted to make them all the same color or different... but it was so quick to whip these cuties up that I figure I can easily make more when the need arises! After coloring them up with my Copics, I added some glitter to their frosting (because glitter frosting makes everything better!) and then added some ribbon to the tops of the card. Super cute little birthday cards!!
Thanks for stopping by today, see you again soon!

Hi There! Kim here with a yummy birthday inspiration. I did some paper piecing by stamping the sweet treat image from the Kitty Sweets clear stamp set several times on various patterned paper and cut fussy cut them. I did some distressing around the edges of all the papers and added some micro fine glitter to the cherry.
The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock and I freehand the banner and finished it with some red rhinestones. The image and sentiment are popped up using 3D tape.

Kitty Sweet!
Aloha everyone! kel from Scraps & photoGRAFFS here today sharing my first project as a DT Sweetie! I'm so honored to be here and working with such a wonderful and talented team!
I used the cute kitty and one of the sentiments from the Kitty Sweets Clear Stamps Set... He's so cute I couldn't resist!! I colored him up with copics and added the sentiment to the side along with some fun banners to match. I even added some Glastique Finishing Glaze to his nose to shine it up a bit, although it's not so shiny in this picture!
Thanks for stopping by today, see you again soon!
