Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Celebrates 2016

Can you believe that 2016 is nearly over?!! Where did this year go?  As with any year, there were some highs and some lows.  Here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, we'd like to thank you all for spending your Wednesdays, here, with us.  We love seeing your wonderful crafts.

This is our last challenge of the 2016 year.  The design team is going to take a bit of a break over the holiday season, but we will see you back again on January 18th.  For our last challenge we have A Day For Daisies as our sponsor.

A Day For Daisies began as a small token to a constant need to create. Pairing a love of whimsical illustration, with a tidy graphic design background, Tammy S Thompson, produced her first stamp designs, introducing irresistibly sweet stamps to crafters around the globe. Drawing inspiration from the beautiful world around us, she strives to express the happiness and gratitude she feels in each stamp design she creates.

Presently, A Day For Daisies has grown to over 3,000 Digital Stamps with a quickly expanding line of Best Loved Clear Polymer. A Day For Daisies has been published and awarded over the years for innovative and unique designs created to inspire the crafting community. With a whole team behind her now, she remains passionate about illustration, obsessed with quality, and dedicated to her customers. A Day For Daisies thanks you for your ideas, comments, and creativity!

This week our lucky winner will receive:
Our Prize:  $12 Gift Certificate

Sweet Sketch Wednesday with Lacy Sunshine Stamps

That's right everyone only 18 sleeps to go and Christmas 2016 will be here.
I can't believe it really as this time last year we were about to leave for an eight week holiday of England and Europe.  Where has 2016 gone to as it's past by so quickly and that means I'm another year older!!!

I hope your Christmas cards are made, the house is decorated and your shopping is done and wrapped under the tree and all you have left to do is prepare your feast for Christmas day.  Oh yes and I wish I was that organised.

Our design team here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 want to help you on your way with your selection of Christmas cards so we have another awesome sketch to create with.

Be sure and come back later today, Anne will be posting our winner from the last challenge.

Now on to this week's sketch I loved working with this sketch and with the awesome image I used from our sponsor.

Sketch #79

If you think I've had too many Christmas drinks by the numbering your mistaken, here's a sketch we were going to use last year but was changed for something else.

Feel free to flip or twist the sketch if that suits you, but we need to be able to see that it is there. Also don't forget to put a copy of the sketch in your post and leave a comment for a chance of winning.  Honestly I don't believe you'll need to flip or twist this sketch and you'll love this inside out circle as it is.

This fortnight we're trilled to be working with Lacy Sunshine Stamps, these images are just so cute.

Bio

Heather Valentin  is  creative ,  award winning,  modern-day  fantasy and  whimsical  artist who has displayed a dynamic and vibrant energy while painting professionally for over 18 years.

She  began to express herself creatively through movement at a very young age. For many years she studied dance, being drawn to forms that allowed creative self expression, all the while feeling this constant urge to create with her hands. The canvas is now her dance floor where colour, beauty and drama are expressed through her every pencil sketch and  brush stroke. Her  subjects vary from fairies, fantasy, mermaids, vampires, dragons, wildlife, abstract and more. She is one who is inspired in a single moment. Her  dreams, moods and the the unfolding beauty of the world around her is what charts her dance for the day. She is most alive when sketching and painting, creating timeless pieces that reflect her heart and soul. Drawing breathes life into her soul- it enables her to reach out and touch lives. This gives her a place in the world one character and painting at a time.
Heather's  artist portfolio  has  expanded to include such  clients  as   Pepsi, Outback Steakhouse, Nabisco, Zephryhils  and can now be found  at Laguna Art, Third Stone Art Gallery and Sausalito Art Galleries, along with commercial and private collections across
the globe.
Her latest foray is to immortalize her popular drawn characters Eleanor and Pickles in a children's book of their own.
