[little secrets]
surprisingly cute, heartwarming and just so sweet!! it's way better than the movies nowadays, those without proper storylines, relying on some gimmicks to draw audience and visual effects to prove it's worth. sadly, they aint worth much for me (being real skeptical, and in no reference to any movie you may have in mind). i only managed to catch the last 30 mins, but it felt like i had watched the entire show. though more than not often, the climax lies in the last 1/2 or 1 hr of the movie, hence the excitement. still, i just like the fact that throughout it didn't digress from the central idea. ok, maybe none other did.
ah whatever, i just love it!!

realised i'm not a good critic of movies. wait, it doesn't limit to movies only. i don't think i ever used my brains anywhere else besides in exams, which explains why i'm not street-smart either, and perhaps to the extent of being dumb. ok maybe even if i did i'm not. and i don't feel for movies, might be another reason why none has left deep impression on me.

ratatouille was fairly ok. maybe i've been hearing negative comments about it i was hoping for something surprising and leave me wowed. so it was sweet, cute, entertaining but nothing that appeals to me. evan almighty is a sequel to bruce almighty, watched both, none impressed. ya it was funny, but not exactly good humour i would say. it's supposed to bring out some profound meaning that you would start reflecting your life on, but i find it just touch-and-go. or really it's me who's shallow. well still, worth watching for all efforts of the casts and out-of-the-world moments.

anyhow, movies are for entertainment, i've just been expecting too much out of them. just grab a nice seat with good company, relac and enjoy whatever's on the big screen, then leave the theatre spaced-out.
that's the whole point of movies.

a 3d logic game i steal from my friend's blog...but technically it couldn't be a steal since a blog itself is a public good - non rival and non-excludable, so anything that goes in it is. still, credit to suwen. ok back to point, the game is kinda fun and supposedly to test your IQ level. i wouldn't know about that but it definitely kills time effectively with all the other brainteasers available. i'm currently at lvl 16, and still there.

beware: it can be addictive!

on a different note, i passed qet. though i haven't heard of anyone in ntu who hasn't, it just said that much about how many people i know of in sch. well, who cares, im having fun with my usual stack of assignments. =)
