A lot of updates...
First it was POU shoot, followed by vessel trip, and today is labour day!
Vessel trip was a really good experience. Staying at the anchorage for 11 hours bought us more sleep time.
As for the photo shoot, 1/2 a day at the studio was quite tiring. Smiles became unnatural after several shots.
And today is label day!!!!! Creamier is a good place for coffee and waffle. I must say the waffle smells damn good.. Even before we enter the stall.

After the Cambodia trip is the relaxing HK trip.
At least for this holiday, it is the first time I'm not thinking about work ( although I still check my email). I have no idea why, but maybe it's a trip to let me rethink what's my next path.
As much as I'm quite satisfied with my life now, I thought I needed to do something more.
That was just a simple thought after the Cambodia trip.
After settling down back home from the HK trip, I've decided to email the relevant parties and gotten reply just few days ago. Till everything is confirm, I'll share the good news here again :)
I'm quite happy that a few expressed interest and would want to join future trips to Cambodia together. The world of internet had really done free publicity. Even my cousins were asking me about it. Ah! And so some of us actually shared the same thoughts. Maybe it's in the genes. =P
That aside, after all the holidays that were planned for since November 2012, I started the routine of work. Some always say that whenever i mention about my job, I have the high energy level describing it. Eh, I don't sense my own high energy, but that sounds like a good news isn't it? Means I'm still not bore by it. Since graduation, I am not too sure if I've made the right choice not trying to apply jobs that is of my specialization especially I've really given much thoughts before I choose my major in Uni.
The process of going through interview to get into the major I want, thinking of the "ideal" job that I want to work for, failing the last round of interview for my "ideal" job, and accepting the job offer another company gave. I've landed myself in a job not of my specialization, but a generalist job. Many would say that I would have wasted my degree and blah blah blah, but I think otherwise. Education is just a process, it will not bring you to the final destination. It brings you to the beginning. The beginning of the rat race.
But the more important part is most of the time, this job doesn't make me feel like I'm in a rat race.
You just want to strive and do better and probably not making the same mistake. There's always room for improvement because situation is different everyday. I think that is the interesting part of this job.
We see the same thing everyday, but the situation is different. Having worked 1.5 years of shift work, I was recently rotated to non-shift. Surprised by the offer, I've accepted it due to too many factors as well. Till date, my body clock is still adjusting. Probably I was sleeping too much when I was working shift. But the checking email disease didn't get off me. Numerous occasion that I just continue to read the old emails to get myself reminded of various stuffs.
These few days were the relaxing and boring CNY for me. As one grows up, the excitement of collecting ang bao depleted as well. But that's when I get to see my cousin, probably once a year thing unless there's some big event going on.
Too much rambling above, maybe I shld end off this post here.
Let me think more of my other plans now before I get the brain rest for the day..
Next refreshing trip is a good 8 months later!

Water for Life @ Cambodia, Siem Reap
The trip to Cambodia was a good one, thanks to junior who jio me along!
From learning how the moulds of the filter is being made, to the process of fixing the Bio Sand Filter, hope that the few days there made a difference to the village people's life. Spending lesser money to visit the doctors, improving the quality of their lives in terms of health. Thanks to Mr. Rany who have helped us a lot as well!
It is really amazing to see how the muddy dirty water , being filtered through the stones and sands that we've washed, became a product of clear water. The villagers has got to wait for 21 days before the filtered water can be drank. I would love to try the water if I've got a chance next time.
The curious face VS the happy face
Apart from the fixing of bio sand filter, I did enjoyed looking at the animals at the villager's house as well.
And thanks to the previous team who had left the boots with the host.
They were really good for the work.
This trip made me want to go for more of such trips!

Having tried crabs from the recommendation by TV variety shows, friends, etc .....
Let me introduce a new stall that is hidden near e neighborhood.
The crab that is soak in butter garlic sauce ( one of the flavors to choose from), with the meat that is fat and juicy is just simply fantastic! The more interesting part about this place is that every thing is so HANDS ON.
The utensils that you can only use is your hands. With the help of a small wooden hammer.
The menu doesn't have a lot of dishes, either the crabs, lobster, clams, prawns as main dish. We tried the starters : sweet potato fries. It was yummylicious. 9/10 points for it!
SO is the CRAB! I would say it totally brought the tasting of crab freshness to a higher lvl, a different feel compared to eating the original flavors ( chili/ pepper). Oh... and it's the
And here's a picture of the crab. Simply huge as well. the legs are actually longer than my fingers.
Served with salt and pepper( with addition of lime juice). But the original taste of the crab shan't be destroyed by too much flavors. It is recommended to eat it without any of the salt and pepper.
And here comes where the stall is located at!
The Cajun Kings. Newly open, just beside Wimbly Lu, where nice hot chocolate can be found.
