March Meeting Swaps & RAKS...

This is the project we made at our March Mtg. last night. Michelle taught us all how to make these wonderful easel card drawers that everyone has been making. I keep telling myself that I'm going to try to make one of these and thanks to Michelle, I finally did! Thanks Michelle...

Kim, Jenn, & Michelle P. brought these treats for all of us at the meeting. Thank you ladies!

The following are the card swaps that I received. Such talented ladies in our group. BTW: sorry for the long post, but there is so much to share!

Thank you everyone for a wonderful meeting full of so many great ideas! Wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to rush home to roll curlers in my daughter's hair. She had a hula performance first thing this morning at the Perry & Price morning show! Until next time...

Some Announcements...

If you are interested in attending this Demonstrator Stamp Camp and want more info, please check out Jacque's blog for more information. She is opening it up to all Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

This award was given to me by Patti. Please check out her blog to see her great creations! She has been posting a lot of Asian inspired projects lately, so if you're interested in those... go check out her blog. You won't be disappointed. The rules for this award is to pass this on to 6 nominees. I can't seem to narrow it down to 6, so I am sending this out to all of you who have inspired me in one way or another... you know who you are! Thanks again Patti!

March Meeting Swap...

Here is the card I made for our monthly meeting tonight. Our theme for this swap is Easter Cards from the the Occassions Mini catalog. Since I didn't purchase any Easter sets from the mini, I made an Easter card instead. I used the following punches: small oval, large oval, wide oval, scallop circle, and 5-petal flower punch (which I used for the beak). I also used frame oval scallop die on my big shot to make the egg. The background DSP is from the Sending Love Specialty pack. Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe weekend... hope it's not as eventful as last weekend!
