January Guest Designer - Leanne Garner

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a GREAT weekend! This is Leanne from CreatedbyLeanne! Today is my last Sunday as guest designer:(  I just want to say how much fun it's been and also what a honor it was to be chosen! Thank you again Ann! 

For my last project, I decided to make another 3D project. I've been having fun making treats lately and with Valentine's Day around the corner I'm sure they will come in handy! I started by using the file, A2 Card Base Bag Landscape for my bag. In the Silhouette software, I drew a oval using the shape tool so it would cut out a opening to see my candy. I covered the oval using some acetate. The cute little girl is from the file, Stella's Valentine set. I loved that she was holding a strawberry and that I was able to find some strawberry 3 Musketeers (which are really GOOD by the way lol). The sentiment is by Jaded Blossom. It's from the stamp set, Lollipops Galore. I stamped it using a die from the Mini Tag Dies 2 set. The little hearts are from the file, Love Bandit. I had them left over from a earlier project :) Last, I used some red tulle for my bow! Here's another look from a different angle....

January Guest Designer - Leanne Garner

Gooooood morning! This is Leanne from CreatedbyLeanne! I hope everyone is having a GREAT weekend! I'm so excited to be January's guest designer! I can't believe the month is almost over :( Ann has been wonderful to work with and her files are absolutely adorable! Thank you Ann so much for this opportunity!

I decided to make a card for today! I've used the file, Goth Rag Dolls. This is such a cute file! I used the cut and print feature on my cameo to cut everything out. The pattern paper is by Echo Park. I made her some bows using twine. I took the eyes, bow, and heart from this set (just a different doll) and added to my dolls. I put little x's in the eyes and then added liquid glass. I used my white jellyroll pen to doodle on her hair and also around the edges of my card. I used a black pen for the faux stitching around the frame that holds the sentiment. I used a new Jaded Blossom set, Cupid Is Stupid for my sentiment. The little pins are also from this set. I colored the tops of the pins with my copic marker and then added liquid glass. Here's another look at it from the side...

Snow Cuties!!! Leanne Garner Guest Designer!

Good morning peeps! My name is Leanne from CreatedbyLeanne! I'm sooooo excited today is my first project as guest designer! I'm SO EXCITED to get to design for the whole month of January! Thank you SO MUCH Ann for this opportunity! I LOVE your files! :)

I took the above picture to show this cute little gusset box I used to hold my candy. It's just one of the four decorative edge boxes that's included in the file! So simple to but together! I found the cute little snowball candy at Wal-Mart. I also used the Kawaii Snowballs to decorative the front of the box. The glasses are from the file, Kawaii Nerdy School. The ear muffs and toboggan are from the file, Penguin Trio. The faces are from various Peachy Keen faces. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's, Winter Wishes!  I've also used some liquid applique for the snow. Here's what it looks like all packaged up and ready to be given away!! (I have to say these photos are not the best :( It's been so dark and gloomy here lately and NO sun!) It's "snow" much cuter in person hee hee!

Can you believe that 2015 is upon us?

We are looking to fill the 1st half of 2015 with our Guest Designer Team call!

Hi Everyone!!  Its that time!! Our Official Guest Designer Team Call!!

We are looking to fill January- June 2015.

As a selected Guest Designer, you will be assigned a month to post on our blog (Sunday's).

What are we looking for?

Enthusiastic people that love our products of course!  We are looking for those that showcase our cutting files in inspirational ways for our customer base.  We are looking for those that are able to share their creations all month long via their blog, social networks, etc (Facebook, Twitter, etc). Sound like something you are interested in?  Keep reading below.....

Guest Designers will receive files to work with for their selected month to post on a weekly basis & join in our monthly blog challenge (optional).  The number of files will range from 4-5 depending how many Sundays are in the month.

Guest Designer will also receive an $10 gift voucher to our store, as our thank you. 

How to Apply:

• Send an email to Annie at sales@svgcuttingfiles.com no later than December 17. (first GDT will begin for January  4th)
• Please have subject line of email state "Guest Designer Team Call"- this is VERY important as we get hundreds of emails DAILY...so this will filter in our account so we can reply quicker then having to sift through messages!!
• Make sure to include : Your name, your email address, your blog address & current list of all DT's you are on (with start/end dates).
• Please send along 1-4 pictures of projects of what you consider your BEST work.  We are looking for cutting file projects,and would love you to send in projects you have made with our files, we just so happen to  have several free files in our store for you to play and experiment with! If you do not have any projects with our files, please make sure to send in CUTTING file projects that best represent your work!

Guest Designers will be contacted via email, and we will announce the 

lucky 6 on our blog and FB pages by December 19th.

Let me clarify, it was REALLY hard to choose from all the wonderful applicants that submitted for a Guest Design spot!  I was crushed that I only had 6 spots open, as so much talent did apply!  You certainly made the job difficult for me in choosing only 6!
