Moments in a Masterboard

Part Two of my Masterboard.  I ended up creating two more cards with little vignettes.

My first card had a strong line of color between the two parts and a stenciled clock. I placed the woman face into circle. I added more circles to continue the bubbles.

My second card turned into a travel and time themed card.

I just recently acquired the crackle/mosaic stamp from Stampers anonymous and I love how it added that cracked effect. Can' wait to play with i again!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Measure Time

I have been having a bit of play time with some paint, stamps and stencils.  I started with a masterboard and made four projects which I am sharing two today and the other two tomorrow.

I love creating a bigger background piece on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock  and then cutting it up into usable pieces for different projects.  The fun part is deciding which little snapshot you want in each piece.

My second project was a tag:

Here is the masterboard.  You can see which sections were cut up to create the tag and the card.

I love the idea of color blocking I decided to use that here in my background.  I masked off sections and painted them to give blocked sections of colors. To help blend them I added a coat of smeared white paint over the surface.

Tomorrow I will share the other two projects created from my masterboard.   I am going to be lazy and not share all the products.  If you see something you want to know what product /manufacturer let me know and I will tell you. :)

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Carnival Fun

The Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp challenge is inspired by Carnivals!  You can be inspired by the colors of the carnival, carnival imagery, or your favorite parts of going to the carnival.  You decide what inspires you and create a project  to play along.

I am sharing a tutorial on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog on Wednesday showing how I was inspired by Carnival.

Here is a sneak peek of part of my project:

Come join in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge for a chance to win a $50 Gift voucher for Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to come back on Wednesday for the tutorial!

Masterboards...

I just wanted to share a few masterboards I put together. (That's the easy part) The hard part is then cutting them up and using them in cards. I love creating the paper but have a hard time designing them into a card. Probably why I generally don't use too much PP in my designs.

Almost all the stamps used are Hero Arts and one Stampers Anonymous. I also created a few cards from one of the background.

Hope your labor day is beautiful!

Masterboard

I decided to create a masterboard. I saw this concept in the Stampers Sampler and decided I was going to create a board and then copy the board to make mulitple cards/projects from the board.

Here is my masterboard:

And here is one of the projects I created from the masterboard...

I enjoyed the concept but I get tired of making similar cards. I created 3 more projects from this board which I won't share... But more than enough of one background.

The other thing that was difficult was the colors of the masterboard didn't translate as I would have liked from my printer. I think if I were to do this again I would try to get the copies made with a higher quality copier.

Thanks for stopping by... If you would like to know any of the stamps or other info, drop me an email and I will respond.
