CORONA CHRISTMAS

 Hello Peeps,

Here I am with a little creation to play at Clever Dexter's Challenge. Their theme is Gourds and their Sponsor is Oddball so I loved both :-)

I have used ODDBALL's Set - HALLOWEEN CAT to make my card.

                  

I have used the pre-coloured images for this one since you know I have " finger trouble "  Hahahaha.  

I had to cut off and colour the kitty's Halloween had and add a Christmas one instead.

The background papers are from DELICIOUS DOODLES - " Christmas Critters " paper set.

The Pumpkin family have all turned up at Kitty's house but, not only are they too late for Halloween, there are now too many of them for Kitty's Christmas party because of the " Bubble " Rules !!!!!  Oh well - better luck next year :-D

TWO PROJECTS USING THE SAME SKETCH

I was looking through the Challenge lists and I came across a sketch over at SATURDAY SKETCHES that I fancied having a play with.

I also had a go at making a Heart Rosette after watching a video done by my friend Fiki - BAD KITTY. :-)

Here's my first  project which uses my surprise Prize image I made especially for HOLLEY's celebration for 2017 - she is 7 years healthy now. Full deets can be read HERE.
I made her mouth a little smaller as someone had commented and said it was "too large + distracting"  !!

I used a backing paper from the " I Love You " set from FAR FAR HILLS, and I made my own ' I'm A Winner' backing paper for the triangles. I coloured up my image and then I added a heart Rosette as demonstrated by Fiki :-)  Whilst I was watching her video on YouTube, I happened to spy something on the right-hand side and afterwards I went and found out how to make this...............

It was demonstrated by a lady called Sheshe Crafts and there was a free PDF pattern to cut out and then fold for this little critter. I wound it with floral wire and used the end for his antennae and made a paper body.

My second project using this sketch is this one.

It is the BOX TOP for the collection of cards I am sending to the Pawprints donation scheme.

I have always had a ' soft spot ' for Westies and had the good fortune to know a very sweet one for many years - she has sadly now passed away :-(

This little one is called  "Valentine Westie" from DELICIOUS DOODLES, but I think he is no longer available - I have had him for years now, since I used to work for DD on their DT. I coloured him with Promarkers and gave him a Tartan bow, since he is from Scotland and I left his rose white for Scotland too.

I used a heart border punch for the two pieces of red card and made another of the Heart Rosettes Fiki showed me, this one using Tartan paper.

LEST WE FORGET

Hello Peeps,

I am here with my piece for Remembrance and I really enjoyed colouring my poppies. I used my Promarkers. I really love poppies and I'm very pleased that they do grow out here in my garden :-D

I used a FB Freebie from DELICIOUS DOODLES  for the main image and Poppy Paper also by DD for the background. The handsome young man pictured in the corner is my late Father at the Burma Star Veterans' chapel on the Isle of Wight for the Remembrance Day memorial service  a couple of years back now.
I loved seeing Father so proud wearing his medals and now they are safe with me :-)
We shall be forever grateful for what they did for us. All gave some but some gave all.

The image was printed out 3 times and then fussy and mounted with foam pads to make it 3D. The red card is from my stash.

A LITTLE BIT OF SCARY.....

Hello again Peeps,
Today I have a little bit of scariness for you with a new digi that I won from DELICIOUS DOODLES. On their DELICIOUS DARKNESS FaceBook page there was a competition from Teri to name her new digi and I won !!! My choice of name was "CRANIUM CARESSES" and you can get your copy HERE.

I printed her out 6 times and fussy cut different bits out to make her 3D layered. The background I placed her on is called Vintage Halloween Distressed Paper 3 from SENECA POND CRAFTS. I cut the background off her and added a scary green glow and a sentiment which says.... "Absence makes the heart want to fondle other people"  Bwaahahahaha  LoL
I also used a lovely bit of black netting which was a prezzie from my Friend - BLACK DRAGON. :-D 

Sorry the angle of the photo makes it look like I have my layers stuck on wonky, but I can assure you that they are perfectly aligned :-D

SISTERHOOD OF SNARK CHALLENGE

I am back again today :-D
I am entering Challenge #4 over at the SISTERHOOD OF SNARK and the Theme is "F is for......" (Fancy Fold actually LoL)
I used a 'Secret Heart' template that is by Mirkwood Designs.

The digi and the papers I used are by DELICIOUS DOODLES.... 'Autumn Paper' and 'Butterfly Bliss' I made a sort of kaleidoscope with the Autumn paper for the outside. The butterfly embellishments are made with my new die set from Tonic - Layering Butterflies.

CREEPY CARD COMMISSION

Hello Sunday Peeps,
I have to show for you today a card commission I received to make something for a lady who is kinda Goth and will be 30 this month !! :-)
I have used ' Lady Raven' from KENNY K on the outside and 'The Graveyard' by Teri of DELICIOUS DOODLES on the inside. Sentiment was my own creation. She is printed 3 times and fussy cut for 3D effect.
Lace and paper from by box of bits :-)
Just in case you can't quite see it... I typed on the gravestone "I'm sorry I asked !!"  hahaha LoL

DARK HUMOUR

Hello Peeps and Happy Saturday,
Whilst I am waiting for something else to dry I have perused the list of Challenges this week and made a little multi-challenge concoction.
This baby used digital images from DELICIOUS DOODLES and some scraps of material from my stash.
I burnt the material with my hot gun to give it a sort of crispy 'skin' look..... this is the second piece as the first one went up in flames hahahaha LoL !!!
The images are coloured with Prismacolour pencils.

The sentiment says .... "The No Carb diet was a little more extreme than she had anticipated" - I think judging by the state of her, I'll give that one a miss !!! LoL

Images used: 'Eyeball Wormetti' and 'I'm Ba-aack  !' both from DELICIOUS DOODLES.  Sentiment is my own wording.

Hello Creepy Peeps,
Welcome to Macabre Monday HDH173 at HAUNTED DESIGN HOUSE - This time we are doing  ZODIAC .....HORRORSCOPES and our Sponsor is DELICIOUS DOODLES. Now Teri has been beavering away drawing  up some cozzzzzmic new images to use for this Challenge.
I have chosen to use CAPRICORN (soon to be released) - not for any particular reason other than I LUV the image :-) Teri has been doing 'normal' Zodiac images too for the faint of heart :-D  LoL

My background is from DECOSSE's DYNAMITE DOODLES and I printed it twice over itself in two different colours to get the effect I wanted :-D. The I used the off-cut from a die cut as my frame. I inked over this using the 'stencil' type bits left after I die cut some flowers. I inked in black and green. I printed the image out 5 times and 'fussy cut' it and layered up with 3D foamies so he really pops out at you.  Capricorn traits and symbol from the Web

MORE ATCs WITH ATTITUDE

Hello and Happy Saturday,
I hope you are having a lovely crafty weekend.  I am hiding in my craft room in the basement 'coz it's just too darn hot upstairs. It has to be hovering around 40 today I would think !!!
Over at ATCs With Attitude, the Challenge is to make an ATC with a shaped edge. I got a lovely little freebie digi this morning from A Day For Daisies - called 'Dancing Poppy' - and I have decided to use her.  The backing is from Delicious Doodles. I have mounted it onto some thick black card and then fussy cut round the poppies to create my 'edge'.

I coloured her with Copics and then added some Stickles over the top for glitz :-)  She is mounted on 3D foamies for 'pop'. Three little gems from my stash finish it off.

I seem to have a bit of a flow going at the moment, so I have whipped up something to enter the LEFT OF CENTER Challenge #5, which is 'Use a Digi or LOC Theme' and is sponsored this time by DELICIOUS DOODLES.

For my creation I have used 2 Delicious Doodle image and my own digi for the background, and a tbale top image from the web.

I used the graveyard scene as the background for my ATC and then I printed out the Emo  and fussy cut her to layer up 3 times to make her 3D. I added 2 sparkle gems and 1 sentiment cabuchon sticker..

Do you know - when I looked this morning I had 197 Followers and was getting excited that I might reach 200 by Christmas, but alas, it was not to be... someone's dropped off and I'm back down to 196 :-(

Over at DELICIOUS DOODLES CHALLENGES  the Theme is Anything Christmas with Blue.
I have made a tag using CHRISTMAS LANTERN from Delicious Doodles. I coloured it and then printed it 4 times, fussy cut and layered up with mini pads for 3D effect. I added glossy accents to the glass and holly and a little Stickles on the bow. Snippet of lace and ribbon from my stash.

The DD DT have made some beautiful creations so why not pop over and have a look and join in.

RUDOLPH DAY

Good Morning,
Gosh - it's come round again.... over on my friend Sarn's Blog - STAMPING FOR PLEASURE - she does Rudolph Day every month on 25th. I think the idea was to get our Chrimbo cards done well in advance....pfffttt !!! ... that hasn't happened with me LoL
Anyways, onto my card... I have used 'Cloaked Lady'   and 'A Crofters' Cottage' from Delicious Doodles. I coloured her up and then cut her out and stuck her on the cottage pikkie with silicone to make her stand out a bit.

I found some white netting from a fruit bag and made a flower and stuck a half pearl in the centre. I've had the backing paper for a while - I think it's off an old CD I have - I pleated the paper just on the right-hand side a bit. The swirl is made with a cut cut... I can't remember who it's by. I bought one of those magnetic cases to put them in, so of course, I don't have the bloomin' packaging now !!!!

So - I will be making a couple more cards today for Rudolph Day and I hope you will pop over to Sarn's Bloggie and play along :-)

QUOTH THE RAVEN QUEST 12 - THE GOLD BUG

Hello Poe Peeps,
I apologise for our lateness in bringing you this month's Quest over at QUOTH THE RAVEN - Our POE site, but we were not all present and correct due to holidays and tragic personal circumstances.
However, Quest 12 - THE GOLD BUG is now up and running. :-D
The story is about Pirates and treasure and stuff... all very exciting... so if you want to read the whole story, please go HERE.

For my offering to you this time I have used, an old map, cypher page,  old book illustration from the story and the gold bug from the web and my main image is 'Zombie Pirate' from DELICIOUS DOODLES. Isn't he just the business ???!!! :-) 
I used a small box with a sort of recess in it to make my piece - it's about A5 size.
I also made a stick pin with some red baubles, a silver heart and a little silver skully :-) 

So, now it's a fabbo Challenge and I hope you will have a look at the story, dig out all your pirate stuff and come over and play with us at QUOTH THE RAVEN. This will be a month long Challenge so you have plenty of time :-D xxx

3,2,1 WITH DELICIOUS DOODLES

Hello Everyone - I hope this has come up OK on Autopost coz I shall be away in Rhodes at a rock concert when this Challenge is due. !!
This time at DELICIOUS DOODLES the Challenge is 1,2,3......... That's pretty simple eh? Use, 1, 2 and 3 of something on the same project.
I have used 2 DELICIOUS DOODLE images on my card.... AUTUMN/FALL Paper and BUTTERFLY BLISS. The paper comes as a pre-coloured image which is cool and I coloured the main image digitally.
I made a stick pin butterfly. I coloured the pearls on the top with Copics and added some glitter glue to the butterfly - that's my 1 and I have 3 buttons.

I hope you will come over and play with us this time and see the stunning creations my DT sistahs have produced for you. It really is a treat :-D

Good Morning Peeps,
Today I am proud to say that I am Guest DT over at SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY for the month of April :-D Here is my first offering for Challenge 10...

The sponsors are Scrapbooking Unique and  Delicious Doodles, and my main image is called 'Kissing Butterflies'  and she is from DD. The DPs are from a scrap kit I had lying around and I added a little butterfly charm.
I am really getting into playing around with Sketches and I like it a lot !!! :-D

31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN.... DAY 9

WoW - whizzing through October now Folks !!!
I have made this using 'Dragonets & Me' image and 'Autumn Paper' both from Delicious Doodles and it is also my 3rd entry for the CDAC Progressive Challenge Round 4.  I coloured the image digitally and with Copics and I added some glitter to her wings. Backing is from plain orange card from my stash, cut with Sizzix die. I enlarged some leaves from the BP and decoupaged them as added a bow made from torn gauzy material :-)

She is a beautiful image and I am very pleased with how this turned out.
