DELICIOUS DOODLES - TEXTURES

Happy Friday Peeps and welcome to  Challenge 16 at DELICIOUS DOODLES... Textures.  This time I have used "Swimming With Dolphins" from Delicious Doodles. I used the inside of a cake box - shiny silver - at the back and covered it with bubblewrap. Then I cut a piece of green card and put it through an embossing folder and cut a swirly edge too. I then layered on some gorgeous lacy stuff I received in a prize baggie. At the bottom is some white netting, some beads I coloured with a smidge of pink, and a real dried-out starfish.

I hope you will come over and show us your textures.. :-)

DELICIOUS DOODLES - "FRESH START"

Hi Everyone,

This is my first Challenge as DT Member at Delicious Doodles  :-D

Now don't get all worried Peeps..... I'm NOT going to go totally dark and creepy on you 'cos Delicious Doodles have tons of fabbo images that are 'normal' and 'pretty', but I will be using some of their scarier ones too.... occasionally...... well, maybe quite often.....  hahaha   Joke xx

Right, I can now say OUR theme for this Challenge No.1  is "Fresh Start" - the idea is to use something new.... easy peasy OK ?
I have used Steampunk images from Delicious Doodles(Shop) - Steampunk paper, Cogs corner and Steampunk corner and I have teamed them with 'Mercius' from Simply Betty. I layered him onto a piece of bubblewrap and them placed my Steampunk corner on top of that with silicone to make it stand up. I cut a separate cog and added '50' to it - as this card is for my friend's birthday - and attached a small piece of black ribbon under it. I also made a little chain from metal staples to dangle at the top. I actually snitched this idea from my friend Sara a.k.a. Eternal Princess Ryan - you can visit her Dark Side Blog HEREor her 'pretty, pretty' Blog which is THERE  :-D

I am well pleased how this came out as it was a bit difficult making a special card for the kind of guy he is, but I reckon he will like this. :-)
