POE APPRECIATION DAY BLOG HOP January 19-23, 2018 - DAY 2

Hi Peeps and welcome to DAY 2 of the POE APPRECIATION DAY BLOG HOP as hosted by the wonderful Leigh of LEIGH SNAITH-BRUNTON DESIGNS.

I have made 5 new pieces to show you - one each day, but I will also be including some of my previous POE inspired projects to inspire you along :-D

For today, I have a Journal Page using one of the brand NEW images from LEIGH SNAITH-BRUNTON DESIGNS : " ODE TO POE " .

The main image is from my Shop - IKEsART. She is called " ANNABEL LEE #2 " from my POE collection.

Firstly I made a background using an old print of a sepulchre and underneath I have typed the poem Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan POE, and splashed with a little blood - of course LoL :-D

Merged into the background also is ODE TO POE by Leigh :-)

I coloured digitally in Photoshop, then printed and cut her out for my page.

Here is a previous creation... a Mixed Media canvas I made for a friend. I used kitchen paper, string, mesh, paper flowers + leaves, and some real feathers donated by my chickens :-) The Raven is about 8 layers of intricate fussy cutting :-)

I don't usually do a lot of MM cuz it scares me to death hahahaha :-)

The Raven was using in the same manner and then subjected to a dunk in my ' Melting Pot ' to make an earring........ just one for effect - yes ? !!
