Oddball Art Stamps Blog Challenge - Mother Love

Today I'd like to share with you a Art Journal Page I've created for the latest challenge over at the Oddball Art Stamps Challenge Blog.

We've changed the rules a little this month, and you don't have to play along with the challenge theme

Our theme this month is 'Mother Love', and you can interpret this however you wish, but we'd love you to share with us you an explanation of your interpretation, if it's not obvious.

Here is my project;

For my project I've used 'Audrey image#208' She's coloured with ProMarkers and a little white gel pen for highlights. I had great fun creating her tie dye inspired leggings, so easy to do, just chose a rainbow of colours then blended them into one another.

My background was created with Caran D'ache Neocolour II Watercolour Crayons, I then added a layer of white Gesso, followed by a layer of Tim Holtz Distress Crayons.

I put my image through my Xyron machine, then fussy cut her out, before adding her to my page. I then outlined her with Warm Grey Faber Castell PITT Pen.

I used Faber Castell PITT Pens for my text, along with some Distress Crayon for the heart in Love, and white gel pen for highlights.
