Day 12 - 31 Days of Halloween meets Saturated Canary

Welcome to Day 12 of the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop.
Today's card is for all my friends who love The Walking Dead, I thought you might like a wee zombie to get you in the mood for the season première, Enjoy!

This gorgeous zombie is called 'Zombie and Her Kitty' by Saturated Canary. I wanted to make her the focal point of my card, so she's quite big at around 3 x 5 inch on a 5 x 7 inch card.  She's coloured with Letraset Promarkers and Uni Posca White Pen.  
My background paper is from Echo Parks Happy Halloween Collection, and I've layered that onto my card base with some black glossy card stock and purple punchinella.  I used staples to attach the punchinella, which not only makes it secure but echo's the staples/stitches on the zombie.  To embellish my card I added a couple of white paper clips and some green ribbon with stitch detail.
Now I am going to be very brave and submit her as my application for the Guest Design Team spot on the Saturated Canary Winter Design Team.  I've been a fan of Krista's images for a few years now, and love colouring them.  I think i've created some of my best projects with them, so fingers crossed I'll make the team.
