For Anne

A dear friend and fellow SCS'er (DAWSON) is have a really difficult time. Her DH has been put on hospice and is terminal. I try to send her a card at least every week. This is just another one I have made for here using the CC challenge for this week.

A Christmas Quickie

I was in dire need to get a dozen cards made tonight so I can get some in the mail. I threw this together in about 5 minutes

I found this wonderful card and CASED it.

I kept almost the same layout and I used a snowman also.

I changed the blue to red and I embossed the entire background. I added a punched sentiment and used the spiral punch for decoration. I changed the ribbon to a red, green & white and I made the card base red.

Baby got Stripes

Ever since I got my car in June, I have wanted to spice it up a bit. After doing a lot of research, I decided on dual stripes in white. I like how she looks!!!

Cards for the week...

I changed the image circle to a square and the card is full size not square. I kept the same color theme although I used tangerine tango not pumpkin pie.

My trees are from a different stamp set and my polka dot paper has bigger dots.

I kept the 3 element panels although I made them as tags not squares
I added ribbon and changed the sentiment.
I kept the textures although I made it as the main panel and I changed the colors

I really like the new stamp set and cherry cobbler is my new favorite color. I have paired it with wild wasabi which is my favorite green. The ribbon is also wild wasabi from an old catalog.

Christmas in July

Trying to get a start on the cards that I will need for Christmas.
I love this cuddlebug folder (snowflakes). I added pearls and a couple of foam glitter flakes. Adding a few glitter brads to the center of the foam flakes just added a bit of pop

Thinking Of New Zealand

Just about a year ago, I went to visit my brother in New Zealand and he had made this wonderful bench on top of a hill for me to sit and enjoy the marvelous views. This image so reminds me of that time.

Used eyelets instead of brads
I kept the designer paper as a background and the girl as the main focus point
I also used quite a bit of the yellow as Stephanie did.
I used paper piercing instead of sewing

Being Inspired
