Cute as Cute can be ♥

This couple seem to be popular this week, and I swear I didn't know Kathrin was planning on using this stamp too, but then they are so cute that I know you can all use a little dose more of Faye and Freddie

Their coloured with Copic and on the mushroom I dotted with Liquid pearl, one of my favourites. There are few cards I make that I don't find room for some Liquid pearl on ♥
Hope you enjoy my little inspiration for you
and that you make something and maybe join us over at the Sugar Bowl ♥

Have a Sugar Sweet weekend!

Gorgeous one ♥

Instead of a card today I've used one of Sugar Nellie's Gorgeous girls,
Their so much fun to colour and I'm sure many of you have them in your collection ♥
Why not ink up one of them and join our Anything goes challenge over at the Sugar Bowl?
Just remember to use a Sugar Nellie stamp and then you can show us anything you want to,
how much fun is that??

This sweetie is not in stock at the moment but you can find so many of her friends here
at Funky Kits, The paper I have used is from MME's Blush paper pad and she is coloured with Copic.

Hope you have a fantastic weekend
Lots of Hugs from Maria

A little baby ♥

Maria here with some Adorable inspiration.
Those of you who are following The Sugar Bowl know it's not long since I used this sweetie last.
But I have a few friends who just got babies and I do love coloring up this cutie and that you can make the baby either boy or girl.
This is one from Sugar Nellie's digi collection and the image is called Bambino
He is colored with copic and the paper is beautiful Pion that goes so well with the soft colors I wanted on a baby card. And last week I found a box full of treasures in the basement. My husband's old stamp collection. And yes I asked him permission to use them on my cards ;) Gives a little vintage look.

Hope your having a wonderful weekend.
We will be eating cupcakes and enjoying ourself. It's my "baby's" 3 year birthday today and all she wished for was a Cupcake. So I made lots of them for her party Sunday ♥
(But she's also getting a pink tricycle)

Hugs Maria

A Fairy Tale card

Hello Sugar addicts today it's my (Maria) turn to show you Something Sassy..
As you might know we're turning the spotlight on those cute Sassy girls that many of you know I love so much, and I enjoy any excuse to ink up one of these girls

This beautiful Simply Sassy girl is called Fairy Tale
She is colored with Copic's . The papers are from My minds Eye and the fabric behind her is a canvas scallop ribbon that I've stamped on.
Hope this has given you some inspiration to ink up your Sassy Girls and maybe there are still some Sassy girls you need in your Sugar Sweet Rubber collection ♥

Have  a Sugar Sweet Weekend
Hugs Maria Therese

For you Sassy girls

I know it's a shame but this girl has only ever been inked up once before so she was yelling out to me please ink me up.. How COULD I resist with those eyes staring at me??

I'm sure you all remember Hippie Chick, Isn't she cute? And she is such a pleasure to color ♥
She is as usual with my cards colored with Copic ♥
And the pretty papers are from My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline - Dolled Up
The flowers are a mix of Prima and WOC and underneath you can see a gimps of Cheese Cloth.

I will tell you something.. My husband has to endure me showing him every single card I make..
It might be he just looks at then and say something to please me but the other day he commented on the cheese cloth how much he liked when I used that on my cards.. so maybe he IS looking at my cards and not just glimpsing and mumbling a few words  to please me..

Well that's it for me today.. I will be back in two weeks with another card :)
But do come to my blog for a visit as I will have other sugar Nellie cards before then ♥

Hugs Maria Therese

And today I have Leanne Ellis' sweet sweet Mermaid on my card.
Just Follow the link and you will find her at Funky Kits for a Sweet price too!

I tried to use soft colors with her as I think that that is the kind of girl she is ;)
The Papers are from My Minds Eye (I think it's the Be Amazing pad)
She is colored with Copic.

I hope this card gave you some inspiration to find your Leann Ellis stamps from your drawer or simply to go find some new ones here

Hope you have a Sugar Sweet weekend wherever you are♥

Not long now until sneak week starts and let me tell you that you have something wonderful to look forward to so better be saving those pennies for the next release has something for everyone ♥♥

Do all of you also find it hard to cut in your pretty papers?
For me it's always hardest the first time I use a paper pad..
But then I want to make pretty cards with more than one paper on so I will have to do some cutting..

Hope you all have a great weekend ♥

Autumn stamp in Spring color

Maria here with my first post at the Sugar Nellie blog.
For my card I've used the Autumn Kit from Sugar Nellie

But I've used soft and light colors to make it more in the Spirit of Spring.
The image is colored with Copic and the papers are from MME
Madison Avenue paper pad.
The background is Clear stamps with distress ink and sprayed with Glimmer mist.
The little embellishment is stamped with clear stamp punched out with circle punch,
washi tape to match the colors of the card and image a butterfly punch and a pearl.
Easy to customize to match the card and image.

If you don't have the Autumn kit yet go over to Funky kit.
You get so many stamps for such a fabulous price.
