Warm Winter Wishes

Morning all :o)  I've used those adorable penguins for today's cards - one of the sweetest Christmas images around, I think!

Anyone who follows my blog will be very bored with these white on white easel cards, but I've really enjoyed making them... they're quite simple, but still look special.

This image is called Warm Winter Wishes, and although the rubber stamp is out of stock, you can get it as a digi stamp here at Funky Kits.

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely day :o)

Holly Fairy...

Morning all :o)

Sugar Nellie's Gorgeous Girl range were my first stamping loves... it's going back a while, but I think they were the first stamps I ever bought, and I still love them now.  So I thought I'd dress one of my favourites, the sweet little Bumble Bee, as a little holly fairy for Christmas!

What do you think - did it work?

I love this stamp as she's so perfect for paper piecing... and she's very pretty too!  You can find Bumble Bee here at Funky Kits.

Thanks for popping in, hope you all have a lovely day :o)

Winter Wonders - Princess

Good morning everyone :o)

I've used one of my favourite digi stamps from the recent Winter Wonders release, to make a girlie Christmas card...

This is the lovely Winter Wonders Princess, and she's just perfect for Christmas and for birthdays too... she's so lovely to colour.

The Merry Christmas stamp is from a Crafty Impressions set and is also available from Funky Kits - you can find it here, and it's on sale at the moment!

Thanks for popping in, hope you all have a lovely day :o)

Fifi Goes Shopping

Hello everyone, Lisa here with my card for this week...

I've used the fabulous Fifi Goes Shopping today... and I've just realised I meant to add a pearl for the button on her jacket, so I might replace this photo later!  I think she's great for girlie Christmas cards and for winter birthdays too.

More photos and details over on my blog here.

Hope you all have a lovely day :o)

Annie with Wreath

Hello everyone :o)

Lisa here, with my creation for this week.  I'm not sure what possessed me, but I had the urge to make a Christmas card... that doesn't usually happen until November for me!

No, I'm not sure why Annie ended up with blue hair... I think she's cute and quirky enough to carry it off though!

You can find the lovely Annie with Wreath at Funky Kits.

Christmas...in July?! Why not?!

Happy Monday all you sweet little elves!! Pat Frank here checking in to see what you'be been up to! Oh, and of course, I have another new Sugar Nellie DT project to share with you all! But first, I have to ask...did you have a great time at Saturday's "Summer Adorables" Blog Hop?! The new images are...well, they're ADORABLE! And they're digis...and they're available right now HERE at Funky Kits...and, because they're digital images, instant gratification!  Ya gotta love that!!

Now...let's talk about Christmas and Winter Holidays, shall we? How many of you have started your Christmas/Winter Holiday cards? This makes #3 for me! Wheet whoooo! Take a look...

Yep...as tempting as it was for me to create something summery with the new "Summer Adorables"...or those precious fairies from the "Return to Fairy Glen" stamp collection, I just had to ink up this quirky little "Pointsettia Girl" stamp by Leanne Ellis! She's available HERE at Funky Kits.

Once again, I colored this image with Copic Sketch markers...then deepened the shading a bit with colored pencils! Here's another, kind of "artsy" angle...

I do so love making "shabby chic" cards with my Leanne Ellis stamps...and I think this card is definitely shabby chic! I hope you've enjoyed looking at my latest Sugar Nellie project!! If you'd like more info on this card plus a look at a few more pics, please visit my blog HERE!!

Ooooh...please leave a comment telling us just how many 2013 Winter Holiday cards you've made so far! And...have a fabulous week!! Hugs...until next time.

Warm winter wishes

Good morning everyone :o)

Oh, how I wish I could say this is my last Christmas card, but I still have a few to go... oh dear, really must be more organised next year!

I've used those gorgeous cuddly penguins again, on a large 8" square card - the stamp is currently out of stock, but they're also available as a digi stamp here.  This card is for my lovely mum and her hubby, I just need to add a sentiment as I seem to have missed that bit!

Well, this is my last post on here until after Christmas, so I hope you all have a fabulous time and I'll see you in the New Year :o)

Hugs, Lisa x

Letter To Santa

Hi there everyone and hope that you're having a lovely relaxing Saturday. This is Michele here today and I’d like to share with you a card that I’ve made using one of the adorable digi images from the Home Grown Range.

The image that I’ve used is called ‘Letter To Santa’ and I’ve coloured it using promarkers, flexmakers and aquamarker pens.

The DP that I've used is called Winter Blues and I've inked the edges using distress inks.

The stars and snowflakes was cut out using dies.

For more information about this card, please head over to my blog.

Thanks for stopping by today :0)

If you Wish upon a Star...

Good Morning Everyone! Jane here today with a little card I made following the gorgeous sketch from the latest Sugar Bowl Challenge. I have used the adorable 'Wish Upon a Star' stamp which is available here from Funky Kits. I coloured her in with my Promarkers and added lots of glitter to her wings as the optional Challenge theme is to add sparkle.

I used Bazzil Basics papers from the beautiful Believe stack and layered them onto kraft before sewing around the edges. The ribbon I used to tie my bow is from the Ribbon girl and matches the vintage feel of the papers really well.

Here is a close up of my coloured image, she has such s sweet little face. I love her little box of stars, she looks like she is ready to decorate the Christmas Tree! I added a couple of little sentiment tags and some paper flowers and then finished with some pearls and little gems for extra sparkle!
I hope you have a lovely Wednesday.
Jane

No worrries, though...there are plenty of fabulous stamps and digis to tide you over until "Little Miss Attitude" is back in stock! my gingerbread friend

Hello everyone!
It's Kathrin here today sharing another card with you.

I so love those beautiful new christmas digis, that I had to make another card with one of them. And this while I so not feel like christmas could happen this year. The weather is way too nice and warm here at my end of the world right now.

But here she is: Gingerbread Cookies.

I colored her with Copics and used the traditional green and red for her clothes. Even if my red turned out a bit more like a dark pink. But I really love how those ear warmers turned out - don't they look fuzzy?

I added some snow liner underneath her feet so now it looks like she's walking through a layer of fresh fallen snow.

I found some gingerbread paper and that quite old quickutz gingerbread man die which were perfect for this card.

To repeat the star from the image I also added two die cut stars, cut from golden paper that has a layer of shimmer on top.

So, enjoy the end of summer everyone - but don't forget that christmas will be here before we know it! ;)

Big hugs

A Christmas card

Hello sugar friends, are you making Christmas cards yet? I am, and today I have a Christmas card to show you. The stamp I have used is not a Christmas image, but I think it works anyway:) This beautiful girl is a Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable digi, and her name is Flora. You find her over at Funky Kits.

This time I have used Prisma Colors for coloring, and I have decorated the card with flowers, die cuts and swirls. I have made the frame with punches from Martha Stewart, and the corner swirls are dies from Quick Kutz.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
Hug from Marianne.
