This card encompasses two of my very favorite things- a pink/aqua color combo and snippets of doily here and there. Here is what I created!
Today I thought I would share a little about my creative process, because I think that making cards should be fun and stress free!! The first thing I do is typically grab the papers & stamps that I want to use. Then, because I am a visual person, I just look through all my fun bits and baubles, and grab everything that I think matches the theme. I spread them around my desk, and then just go to town grabbing them when & if I need them! There is nothing strict and regimented about it....I just start stamping, distressing, cutting and placing things here and there.
Unless my card is super clean & simple...this is typically the process that I use. I feel like I stay inspired because I am looking at every pretty thing that I might possibly put on my card front. It is also a GREAT way to make sure you are using up all that fun product that you've purchased. The one thing that I will never be accused of is being a hoarder...if I've got it in my stash- I will use it!! So, I challenge you to do the same thing.
