Mr & Mrs Together Forever

Hello everyone how are you all?
The plan today was get the front garden done, scarify the lawn, remove flowers & weed etc but its wet & very miserable :-( Perfect day to stay inside & get work done then ;-)

So I have a card today that I made quite a few weeks ago. When I showed my last LOTV card with a simply print I did say the next one would be a stamped image.......here it is, or one of them as I have a another done lol.

This time I thought I would make a Wedding card or it could even suit as an Anniversary card maybe.
Sorry for the pics again we've packed the big computer up to move to another room & the software to use with the camera is on there & not my lappy.........so I'm still using my phone :-(

I love these love birds, they are so darn cute.........shame it took me so long to use them lol. They are from Magnolia Doo-Hickey Volume 3.
The flowers are WOC & you can also see a doily peeking out too.

I added Mr & Mrs Scrapiniec to the corner & under the flowers I added the Eiffel Tower also from Volume 3.
Flowers again are WOC & the leaves are Magnolia Parsley & Rocket Salad.

The fabulous cute image is a LOTV stamp called 'Wedding Couple' & I coloured it with distress ink refills.
I cut the image out using Gummiapan 'Nesting Stitched Circles' & matted it onto larger sizes underneath including a circle of Maja Design.
I also added a couple of pearl hearts as added love ;-)

I cut 2 hearts using a Magnolia die, I cut 1 in white cardstock & 1 in co-ordinating Maja Design paper, I added Tim Holtz words to the white cardstock & added a brad.
So when you swing the patterned heart out it reads 'Together Forever', kinda like a hidden message.

As always inside is decorated to match the front. Paper I've used is a Maja Design collection which is probably my favourite one, I won September Mood Board & I also won this set......so I have lots more now lol.
It is of course 'Summertime' 12x12 & I used a Go-Kreate die for the card. As always the papers have been machine stitched.
The lace is from my stash as are the doilies.

Thats it form me but thank you so much for stopping by, it really means a lot.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Sweet Baby Boy

Hello everyone I'm running late with this post & have a busy day so gonna get on as quick as possible my lovelies.

Ok so today I'm here for the new chalLenge over at All About Magnolia & this month our challenge is super duper easy peasy..........
ANYTHING GOES
..........what is easier than that lol.

My card today was not originally meant for this challenge, it was just a card for fun as I had coloured the image quite a bit ago & decided to use it. However it came in handy as I didnt have time to finish what I was making.
I made a baby card with my favourite baby stamp. Usually I use Maja Design Baby papers but this time I decided to use Maja Design Denim & Friends 6x6 collection.....I love how this pad can work for so many occasions. You can get this paper here from Swedish House Crafts.

The star & the rabbit are from Doohickey Volume 13, I edged them with ink & added bits of structure paint here & there, mainly the edges.
You can get the Doohickey volumes from Swedish House Crafts & you can great deals on them, Suha knows how expensive these kits can be so you can reserve Volume 16 for £10 but if you dont like it when it is released then you can change your mind..........pop over to here to read the details.

The Magnolia stamp is called Sleeping Baby Tilda but coloured him for a boy & I coloured him with distress ink refills, added stardust stickles to his wings.
This stamp is available to buy from Swedish House Crafts, its been a long time since I've seen this stamp for sale in the UK......pop along & get it before they go!!
I then cut him out using Magnolia Pink Edition Rounded Frames which are on a fabulous offer at Swedish House Crafts right now.

The heart tag is from Magnolia Doohickey Volume 14 & I added words & letters from Tim Holtz pads to read Sweet on the front & Baby Boy inside.

As always I decorated inside & I machine stitched all the papers.
Lace is from my stash, the tulle I have in a few colours & have quite a bit of it lol.
Flowers are from WOC & the doily is from my stash.

Hope you will join us this month over at All About Magnolia.

Thats it form me, my grand-daughter is having an operation today & I've got my grandson to look after & other things to do but cannot say incase someone reads this blog lol.

Hope the weather for you is better than it is here.........raining cats & dogs....or is it dogs & cats ;-)
Take care & thanks for stopping by mmwah.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Deep Ocean Challenges

Hello there everyone its nice & sunny here by the sea today, perfect for getting my bedding out on the line after I've finished this post.
I must say sorry for being late with this post, we go on Holiday to Devon tomorrow woooo hooooo but it means this week has been crazy busy.  So I will make the post quick-ish lol.

Ok so this fortnight over at Deep Ocean Challenges our theme is............
SHABBY CHIC or VINTAGE
................omg I love both these themes, however I didnt really have time make anything but thankfully I have a few makes that fit this theme. This one I made when I first got the stamps.
I used the super gorgeous Maja Design Sofiero collection which you can get from Swedish House Crafts with the Monochromes to go with it, just click here.
I used a Go-Kreate die for the shape of the card & also used a circle one the for 2nd layer.
All papers were machine sewn & gesso added.

I added lace & cheesecloth form my stash.
All smaller dies used are Magnolia, the Bow, butterfly, both tags, swirl & the leaves.

The fabulous stamp is from the Magnolia From Farm To Market collection & this beauty is called 'Market Tilda With Fruits' & you can get her & many others from Swedish House Crafts.
I coloured her with distress ink refills & 1 marker which are her boots.
I also stamped the fruit that comes with here around her a bit.
I cut her out using MB Stitched Ovals.

As you can see I decorated inside to compliment the same as the front.

Here you can see the tag out with a charm attached, I used a Magnolia die but left it blank til I know what it will be used for. The seam binding I made myself a long time ago.....havnt made any for a while will have to remedy that lol.

The sentiment on the Magnolia Tag peeking out is from Tim Holtz wording doo dah's.....yeah I cant remember what they are called lol.

Hope you will join us this fortnight for our shabby chic/vintage theme we love seeing what you create.

I'm gonna go peg my washing out & then I have lots of beds to make including the bed in our touring caravan as thats what we are going on holiday with so I have that to clean inside  out today. Then I'm baking LOTS this evening as I'm making tea & desert to take down with us. Its the whole family going in 2 tourer's & we doing the travelling over 2 days, so the first night we are stopping over just outside Birmingham & then first thing the following morning we will travel down to Devon.
Will catch up with you all when I get back.

Thanks for stopping by, I will have a couple of scheduled posts......I hope if I get time to do them later lol.
Tatty bye lovelies
Big hugs Vicky xxx

Noor Design UK - Anchor's Away

Hello everyone how are you all?
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, we had a really nice one, out with all the family & both the family dogs on Saturday & then spent the day with family again on Sunday & had a BBQ at mine, love weekends.

Ok less babbling & lets show you what I've made with products from Noor Design UK. Today I have a more male inspired card for you.........yep less foofiness lol. I sometimes find male cards hard but I do think Pion Design make male cards easier with their gorgeous papers.
I love this collection.....ok I love most of Pion's collection lol. This collection is 'Legends Of The Sea' but the 'Happy Birthday' tag is from the Mr Tom's Treasure's Collection.
All links are below to take you to the products I've used

For the centre I used an 'Anchor' image from Images From The Past & added foam pads underneath to raise it up. Under that I cut out a rectangle using a Fantasy Die from the same sheet I used for the card which is 'Aye Aye Captain' & raised that too to give it all dimension.

The boat at the bottom I fussy cut from the Aye Aye Captain sheet & popped it onto foam pads & underneath I cut out seaweed from Foamiran.
The Anchor, Lighthouse & Seagull are cut from Joy Crafts dies.

The tag I cut from Pion Mr Tom's Treasures 'Mr Tom's Memory's Notes'. I punched a hole through it, added an eyelet & then a keyring from my stash hooked onto a Tim Holtz Clip.

I cut the corner from a Joy Crafts corner die. I also added bubbles here & there using Structure Paste & a mask art stencil that Tracy can order in if you would like it.
Seaweed is cut with a Magnolia die.

Thats it from me, thank you so much for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
P.S. Sorry about pics I've still not set up an area for my light tent & lights so this is took on my bench with just my big lights on & luckily we fitted LED lights under the units on the wall so they shine out so much extra liught, they are fab & a fab price too...... ;-)

Stamping Bella CAS Cards

Hi everyone a quick post from me tonight. I'm quickly popping on to share my latest Stamping Bella stamps.........CAS style too.......yep CAS & 2 of them...I know I think I'm ill.

The challenge over at Bellarific Friday is a inspiration piccy & the theme of 'Love Potion' & I'm kinda hoping my cards fit....although the background colours are not quite the same in real life on one of them :-(
So 2 CAS cards exactly the same style & shape but 2 different stamps, 2 different sentiments, 2 different ways of colouring them up as well. Eve the backgrounds are the same by using the same colours but a different way round.

Starting off with the first one.
I've used a Go-Kreate die for the shape then I've used Derwent watercolour paper for the background. I have quite a bit of this but dont have the pencils anymore, so the paper is perfect for messing with inks on & playing lol.

The first stamp is one you may have seen on the Valentine card to hubby I made here. I've used the co-ordinating Cut It Out die as well but this time coloured the image with distress ink refills.
In all honesty I do prefer the look of copics on these images but I wanted to do a comparison as I do love my distress inks just as much as my copics......ok maybe more lol.
In all honesty this was rushed a bit & I completely forgot to give the red another layer..........my bad
 :-(

The sentiment comes with the stamp & in the co-ordinating die it also has a small die to cut out the sentiment which is what I've done.
I glued the watercolour paper to the centre of the card after cutting it in the same shape & then machine stitched up each side.
My next card is using the other Bee stamp........I really love these Bee's they are so darn cute....cutest Bee's ever!!!
As you can see exactly same shaped card again with the Go-Kreate die.

This stamp however was fussy cut out because stupid me didnt get the die to go with it & its soooo much easier with the dies. Let me also tell you the dies are fabulous & this Die-Fanatic was extremely impressed, they cut beautifully & I will get more!!!
This image was coloured in Copics.

The sentiment also comes with the stamp & this time I cut out ach word like Elaineabella gave us inspiration for a week or 2 ago over on the Stamping Bella blog.
Agina backrgound was cut out using same die & then glued & stitched onto the card.

The background was done with a Tim Holtz mask & about 5 different distress inks, I then sprayed water & blotted so it wasnt so perfect looking.
I really enjoyed making these especially colouring the stamps & doing the backgrounds, a lot of fun!!

I did have all the colours used inks & copics written down but have lost the paper :-(
I will say though that about 18 months or so ago I sold all my copics, hubby then brought me more later last year & I'm still building them up. However I dont currently have any yellows & my wee bee friend needed yellow...........so out came the stickles for the yellow. It owkred as it gave the cutie some bling lol.

I will also add that the background on the copic bee is more pinkier in real life but the camera has picked out more of the oranges used & not the pinks :-(
Stamps used are 'Bee Mine' with Cut It Out die & 'The Bee & The Heart', both from the latest release.

Well thats it from me folks I'm gonna pop this on over to the challenge & then go watch tv in bed with hubs. We are watching Prison Break..........so happy they are bringing season 5 out ;-)

Tatty bye & thanks for stopping by.
HUgs hugs Vicky xxx

Noor Design UK DT Cards - For The Men In Life

Hello everyone how are you all?
I'm here today with not one male card but 2.....yes 2 male cards!! I think I'm sickening for something........yep I'm ill ;-) Just kidding ;-)
On both of these cards I have used papers from the same collection, Pion Mr Tom's Treasures.....these make male cards so much easier :-)
My first one is using an image from Mr Tom's Treasures.........all links to items used will be at the bottom of the post.
This image is perfect for the males in our lives, especially our fathers & grandfathers ;-)
The base of my card is Kraft card but all other card used for matting I used Pion Design Palette.
All papers & image have been distressed & machine sewn around the edges.

I love these sentiments they are perfect. I punched a hole in each corner & added eyelets, string & a Tim Holtz clip to hold them in place.......... Can you also see the Kraft Pocket there peeking out a little....

Its to hold this tag inside, maybe you could something special on here just for that special fella in your life........maybe tell them how special & loved they really are...

This is the inside of each card, these postcards are perfect for adding to the inside for a place to write your message

My 2nd card features a stamped image.
Distress ink refills & Markers used are....
Skin - Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose & Candied Apple for Cheeks
Hair - Antique Linen & Walnut Stain
Walking Stick - Vintage Photo
Suit, Hat & Shoes - Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke & Stormy Sky is used for the blue

I have used Edwin from Magnolia Little London Collection & while I do have the phone booth stamp, I've been waiting to use this Scrapiniec Telephone Box. I did originally ink the whole thing with Fired Brick distress ink but then changed my mind & painted the bottom layer with white gesso instead......I also added small clear foam pads in between the bottom & top layer to add some more dimension. Behind I used Little Darlings Fancy Squares dies.....the larger part I used the half piece you get in the set to make it larger ;-)
Top left is a bingo card form the Pion sheet & I added a Pen Nib to the top......because I've added a silver charm to the tag on the right side I wanted the pen nib to match........so I embossed it with silver embossing powder.......be warned it gets very hot!!
On the right picture you can see the pocket peeking out & you can see a charm & the words 'My Father'.......

I added a tag again with one of the 'Images From The Past' sheet, I trimmed it down to fit on the tag as I really love what it says on it.........The car I think is something Edwin would drive dont you think ;-)

I made cabochons with the circles you get on Mr Tom's Tags Sheet, on the left I made a clock cabochon & on the right is a gentleman that looks a lot like Edwin.......complete with hat & stick lol.
I added banners on both using Little Darlings Stitched Flags die.

I really enjoyed making these male cards, think it helps when you have fabulous products from Noor Design UK.
Speaking of the store........have you seen the totally yummy new products Tracy has added...well grab yourself a cuppa & a biscuit & pop on over here to browse all the new products....including new whimsy stamps here.

Thanks for stopping by, take care.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
