Deep Ocean Challenge DT Card

Hello everyone this should have been on last night but unfortunately I ended up feeling ill & completely forgot..........

Anyhoo's better late than never so I'm here this morning............though if there is spelling mistakes its cus I have a doggy lying across me who is insisting on cuddles lol......bless him.

Ok so the theme this fortnight over at Deep Ocean Challenge's is I think a lot of people's favourite...........

THINGS WITH WINGS

..........yep just fly your pretties over to us to drool over.

I thought I would share an Easter card that was made..........

Yes I have quite a few wings on here lol. The gorgeous paper I've used is Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 pad, all the edges were stitched on my sewing machine.

Added doilies from LLC. The seam binding is from my stash, as is the pearl button on top. The 'Bird's Nest' charm is from LLC.

Added a flower spray to the side with a mixture of dies & wooden shapes. The flowers are WOC from LLC, as are the small apples..........which I think I've had for quite a while now tbh. The 'Bark Heart' & the wooden 'Bird Cage' are from LLC also.

The dies I've used are Memory Box 'Chloe Stem' & the leaf is '0047 Vintage Leaf' from Noor Design UK....... The bird I cut from a larger die containg 2 birds on a branch, I think it's an Impression Obsession die, I cut this little fella out, added a pearl for his eye & popped him onto the wooden cage wgicg also got a treatment of Gesso.

I used  Magnolia 'Tilda with Easter Eggs & Chick' from the easter collection 2013. I coloured this about a month ago so dont have the colours but she was coloured with distress markers.

I also added a bit of chick wire from a stamp in my stash.

As you can see inside is decorated as always. On top of the raffia stuff I also added 'Lace Aurelie' from LLC.......it's kinda hidden a bit so hard to see :-(

Well that's it from me, I'm off to move the bedroom furniture around while hubster is re-building the cupboard in the kitchen which is getting a major make-over at the min. Yeah you would think we had enough with the builder's.........but hey while its in the mess we might as well make more & get everything done & finished. Fingers crossed for arelaxing summer then lol.

CES Challenges DT Card.............Summer Rain

Good morning everyone how are you all? Those poorly I wish you better soon.

It is Saturday so of course its time for CES Challenges & this week our lovely Claire has set the challenge

SPARKLY FLOWERS

We want to see all your sparkly flowers.......so get some glitter out & those beautiful blooms & come & join us. I was hoping my new stamps had been here as I had planned to use one on my card for today as it would of been perfect. Instead I have used another one of the gorgeous stamps I got the other week.

Of course this is 'Tilda In Summer Rain' from the new Rainbow Collection

Twill Sentiment & I've attached Tim Holtz Mini Pins to each end.

The beautufl lace I won off the uber talented lovely Elaine

Sprayed the flowers with Pearl Glimmer Mist & then sprinkled glitter on to give plenty of sparkle.

The leaf is cut with a Marianne die out of kraft card. The butterflies are punched out of ribbed kraft card & then glittered up & gems added to the centre.

Tilda has been coloured with copics, I coloured her last week so I can only remember some colours.

Dress & Umbrella - R0000 R000 R11

Bits of shading added with W3

I added glossy accents to the umbrella to make it look wet & to the puddle & rain drops.

All done in my fave colours.........

Final piccy in its box which I made........most of my cards go in boxes so nothing gets squashed on the card.

Bows, buttons & bling........

Well good evening all my lovely friends how are you all? Have you watched the wedding? I have not seen any of it I've seen the dress & Will's suit on aol but thats it its my youngest son Jake's 15 th birthday today so we've spend the day with him......I still remember the day I had him & how I knew he was my last lol....

Quickie card from me.....well quickie I say but you have to realise that my quick cards still take 2 hours to make......unless its a male card lol. I suppose it would help if I chose my papers first......I like to be different lol.

Anyway I have dusted off an older stamp that I have have had since last year but had still never used.......yes my wrists are slapped lol.....

This is 'Sitting' Tilda from the Bon Voyage collection & I got her when they released this set.....cant remember where I had her from tho.

Its been sooooo long since I entered Just Magnolia when I saw the challenge today.....well the challenge is bows, buttons & bling.....how can a girl resist any of these especially the bows & bling.

She is of course coloured with Copics which I didnt write down......weally sorry peeps.

The flower is a prima paper flower at the bottom then I punched a flower out of the same paper then added a button with bakers twine threaded through. The beautiful ribbon & gems are from my stash & the ribbon is actually a really deep pink not red.

The gorgeous paper is Prima 'Madeline' & its the A4 sized pad....the square she is sitting on is also from the same pad........this is now my fave pad...ever!!!

I punched some white card with an MS blorder punch & added diamond stickes along the bottom. The matting Tilda is on is using my nestie.

Well thats it from me as I have a canny bit of DT work to do so will pop round see you all later.

Tilda Wearing A Head Wreath............

Good morning all my lovely friends, how are you all? I hope the weather is good where ever you are its absolutely glorious here again so hubby is mowing the front lawn bless him.

Took my step-mum to the vets this morning, well not her, her dog I mean!! She has a Dobermann he is the softest thing on 4 legs, he is gorgeous but he's getting old. Anyway she took him the vets & he has a heart murmer, his back legs are going & his kidneys are failing so unfortunately the dog has not come back it was best & kindest for him to be put sleep. He was nearly 16 years old he was the oldest the vet had seen in such a big dog........its so sad tho & we will miss him so much.... My step-mum is very upset, luckily she has 2 yorkies to keep her occupied a little.

Anyway now onto my card I actually made this last night & just put the flowers on this morn I've decided that I will do most of my posts in a morn cus then I get all the natural light which I love lol.

Well you read the title & yes I've done a magnolia card I have had this stamp since maybe last summer cant remember TBH lol however I found it yesterday & shamefully the packet was still sealed at the back oops.

So I thought I would colour her up............

Yep she is an oldie but a cutie still lol. I needed a fix with all my faffy things after the CAS card, wow I cant do many of them......they kill me....I had hair right down my back....I'm now BALD!!!!! lol.

Shabby chiccy kinda card. Wavy edges were done with me Crafters Companion 12x12 paper cutter.

Isn't she a doll lol & guess what I've even coloured her......oops soryy Painted her with Distress Inks....yeah get me lol........still need loooooaaaaads of practice tho, I really should start using them more!!

Took the piccy's on the little bench thats outside my ickle hobbit. The paper is a digital download from the Etsy store, I've distressed them & then inked them with Vintage Photo .

The vintage seam binding is 'Hug Snug' from the US & I've frayed the edges to coincide with the whole shabby look........I love this stuff!!!

The flowers & lace ar from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The stamp is of course 'Tilda Wearing Floral Head Wreath' from Sir Stamp A Lot, who might I add has a sale on loads of stuff so I'm away shopping in a min to buy some more bits for my candy & maybe a few things for moi lol.
