3rd Week of July- 18th Week of Quarantine

Here are some highlights from last week.

Cute Carter fell asleep one night before dinner.

The pumpkin or squash plant my dad gave us is growing.

And the watermelon plant is REALLY growing!

Steve bought Piper a new toy.  A duck bumper.

Needless to say, she LOVES it!

On Friday morning, Steve went up to the Unitas again to Trial Lake w/ the boys.

Rob went w/ him again.  After they got up there they found a camp spot, set up, then went to Trial Lake to go fishing.

Nyles playing in the hammock.

Nyles waiting for a fish, then reeling one in.

Good work Nyles!

Dave and Joann came up that afternoon for a drive.  Carter decided to head home w/ them.  He fell asleep on the way home of course, w/ a sucker in his mouth.  Silly boy :)  Carter said he wanted to come home to sleep w/ me in our bed, which he did of course.

Phill and Conor met up w/ them around 4pm.
Rob and Nyles eating a S'more w/ some really big marshmallows.

Phill trying a huge marshmallow.

Watching a comet from their campsite.

The next morning playing on the hammocks.

Silly Nyles upside down.

When Steve and Nyles got home, they went over to help Dave w/ some trees and bushes in LuDean's yard.  Nyles, Carter and Conor made some sand creations w/ Aunt Diane while Steve and Phill worked outside.

Sunday afternoon we went up to Silver Lake to enjoy some cooler temps and enjoy the beauty.

Beautiful flowers along the path.

Carter fell asleep on the way up the canyon, so he hitched a ride on Steve's shoulders.

Beautiful view!

Cheese!

Cute boys like to climb up on the rocks.

Carter, me (34 weeks) and Nyles.  The boys are getting so big, including the one inside me!

Then we set up the hammocks for a little while.

Carter eating a granola bar while hanging out.

Cute boys.

When we got back, we had dinner then made some marshmallow caramel popcorn and played a game of Dori Dominoes.  Carter enjoying his caramel popcorn.

Great insight.

2nd Week of July- 17th Week of Quarantine

Summer is moving right along and sure is HOT.  Here are some highlights from the 2nd week of July.

Making tool benches from Home Depot.

The boys playing in the pool on a hot day.

The boys helping to hammer Carter's new dresser together.

Since the baby will be coming next month, we took the dresser Carter has been using and put it back in the nursery (it has a spot for a diaper changer to go on top).  We got a new one for him to use.  According to Steve, I've been "nesting."  I washed all the baby clothes for the first few months and got everything but the crib put back into the nursery.  My computer/office is still in there for now until I stop working towards the end of August.  The baby will sleep in our room for a couple weeks, so we'll set up the crib then.

Tada!  All done.

Carter putting together puzzles.

We decided to try a new spot to a waterfall called Battle Creek Falls, in Pleasant Grove.  It was pretty hot along the trail, but luckily there was a little shade.  The boys and Piper wanted to go check out the stream once we got it it as well.

They got some cool water and put in on their hats and arms to cool off.

We then crossed a bridge over the stream.

When Piper got to the other side of the bridge she decided to sit down and drink for a minute.

Nyles getting his hat wet again.  Piper cooling off as well.

Silly Piper!

We then saw this little cave, so the boys and Piper had to explore it.

Cheese!

Yeah, we made it to the waterfall!

Thankfully it was cooler next to the waterfall, so we stayed there for a little bit.

Pretty view.

Nyles, Carter and I (33 weeks pregnant).  He's getting heavy to say the least!

The boys playing in the stream w/ rocks.

Steve petting Piper.

More playing in the rocks/water.

Family picture by the waterfall.

Good thought and reminder.

Even more important to remember.
