Our family has seen lots of changes in 2015. The biggest one is we moved February 1st of 2015. We were told we would be transferring to the other church ranch in Raymond Alberta called the Knight Ranch. We only had two weeks to back and move and I was in charge of all the houses being cleaned five in all. Luckily it is only and hour away from the other ranch, and we had lots of family support from Jarom and his siblings that live close. We still arent exactly sure of why the move was so sudden and needed but we know it had to do with management at the knight ranch not working/getting along. Either way we were asked to move and it felt/feels like we got the raw end of the deal. But we are trying to have a positive out look. At the Knight ranch they have a community playground and two families with kids so the kids have loved that. Jarom loves the guys he works with and says the atmosphere is much better for working in here. While we liked our house at he other ranch much better this house has some perks (besides the ghost, which is another post) a much bigger kitchen even if it is outdated, and two bathrooms, they also painted and carpeted the whole house for us.The ranch is a gorgeous place to live and experience, we are often greeted by deer, porcupines, elk, coyotes, eagles and the occasional skunk to keep us on our toes. Also in 2015 the kids have grown so so much, Wrangler is 5 and started Kindergarten this year. He absolutely loves it! And is doing quite well, and already learning how to read and spell. The educational system and the schools here in general are much different the the american ones and I have had to learn how they do things here too. I am amazed at how different it is. Wrangler is our creative child and is constantly drawing, building, or making something. He is also our sensitive child and we have to be very careful how we say things. Harlynn is 4 and cant wait to go to school but because of deadlines she will have to wait until she is close to six to actually go to school. We attend a parent preschool once a week and she loves it. Harlynn is a strong little girl with a big attitude and loves to lazy and also has a great imagination and can entertain all around her or just be content on her own. She is defiantly our social butterfly. Mavrick is now 18 months and weights 19 lbs. He is little but is constantly on the go. He started walking at ten months and has been on the go ever sense. He is getting quite the vocabulary and say, Dad, Mom, Rd (our dog), hat, please, hot, socks, horse, noodle, yum yum, banana, and a few more. He is also our most spoiled child.... when he was a baby up until about 16 months he would have periods of not breathing when he sleeps and has a monitor on whenever he sleeps. But because of this it seems we have spoiled him, he still sleeps with a binkie and doesn't sleep through the night... :( He is also our funny kid and is always always trying to tease people and make them laugh. People are amazed at how fast he moves and climbs EVERYTHING!!! Nothing is safe with him, nothing! Jarom has been working hard hard hard, this year he had a nasty fall off a horse and tore his ac joint in his shoulder. Its been a long hard recovery but he doesn't let it stop him. He is pretty amazing with a rope now and is working on teaching Wrangler. Jarom has been team teaching the 17 year olds at church and really loves his calling. As for me I feel like nothing has changed, although I have become quite the taxi driver. Everyday I take wrangler into school, because there is no pick up for kindergartners so it ends up taking us about and hour and a half everyday...I really really dont like this and will not be doing it again!!! We will either home school for kindergarten or be moved again before that happens. I have been crafting as much as I can with three little kids and love when I get the chance to do that. I have been trying hard then normal for me ha ha, to make friends with the people who live on this ranch also. I teach five six year old girls at church. And I miss my family!!! I have never experienced homesickness until this year...it seems kind of silly since I am 32 but its been really hard for me this year. So we are looking forward to visiting with family this year and are even planning on making the trip to the Hegerhorst family reunion! Anyway that is our life right now and we have been waiting for two year to get our permanent residence which we hope to finally have this year, and we will start the process of waiting and applying for citizenship.
