More from The White Farm

I stitched the trees to the right of the house using the fly stitch and one strand of Wildflowers.  The background was already stitched using one strand of Lorikeet in the alternating T-stitch.  It's very subtle and very pretty.  These are all ideas I got from Amy Bunger at my last Rent Amy Day.

I finished the moo cow and filled in the wall behind her.  She needs her tail, face and udder finished up.

Missing Memphis Already

Once again we had the best time in Memphis.  Eating, stitching and visiting with dear friends there.  FABULOUS!  I took the White Farm by Diane Ulmer Pedersen from Painted Pony Needlepoint Designs.  I was ready for Amy to give me the stitches for the rest of the piece.

Back to The White Farm

I went to The Needle Works yesterday for the Wednesday SWAN get together.  Super fun as usual.  I finished the foundation for the barn.

Green for background

While I was there,  I found this green for the background of the trees to the left of the barn.  Amy's recommendation is to stitch it all over using one strand in the skipped tent stitch.

Roof thread

I also found this perfect color for the roof but I do want to incorporate the black in there somehow.  I will be thinking on that.   I am going to do my chores as quickly as possible so I can get stitching!

Our Trip to Amy's

I had purchased this canvas from Amy's Golden Strand and so she was waiting for me in Memphis.  Gorgeous design from Diane Ulmer Pedersen through Painted Pony.  I could not wait to sit down and see what Amy would come up with.

Those fun days at Amy's are all too short.  We are already looking forward to going next year!
