Smile

Hello! Today I have a card to share that features the new Photo Bomb stamp set and Smile die from Mama Elephant along with some fun dies from My Favorite Things.

I fell in love with the Photo Bomb stamp set as soon as I saw it and knew it would work perfectly with the My Favorite Things Cute Cameras 2 and Precious Polaroids dies.

I diecut the camera from Neenah Solar White cardstock and then I coloured all of the pieces with Copic markers. I love diecutting from white cardstock and colouring everything in to add depth and dimension with shading. Definitely makes it look less flat and more realistic! ;)

I stamped the largest photo image onto white cardstock and coloured that in with Copics as well. I then then cut out and layered one of the Polaroid frames over the photo and cut it down to fit inside. I tucked the photo into the bottom of the camera to make it look like it was actually coming out and adhered the whole piece to my card front with foam adhesive.

To complete the card design, I diecut the word Smile and adhered it under the photo. I also added clear sequins and silver stickles around the camera image, and Glossy Accents to various parts of the camera.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be back soon! ;)

MFT December Release Countdown | Day 5

Hello! Today is the start of the countdown to the December release from My Favorite Things! I have a few cards to share with you that I created with the new release products!

First up, I have a card that I created with the newest Pure Innocence stamp set called Roarin' Good Day. I love how fun these cute images are to colour!

I coloured the girl with a few shades of orange Copic markers and then added her to a background that I created with the new Blueprints 21 die-namics, which is all about circles! I LOVE this newest blueprints collection! ;)

I cut out various circle sizes for the grass and also inked up a white stitched rectangle with Sno Cone ink for the sky. I added some dashed white lines for some detail and also added the sentiment in a speech bubble that you'll be seeing in a couple of days (wink! wink!).

For my next card, I used the new Blueprints 21 die-namics and some of the awesome pigment ink colours that were released last month, to create a fun birthday card. I made the stitched circles the focus of the card and completely covered them all with the pigment ink colours.

I used an eraser the take away a bit of the colour on some of the circles to give them a bit of a worn look and then I adhered them all onto a white cardstock piece. I layered a couple of them on top of one another with foam adhesive for some added dimension and then finished it off with some Silver Stickles.

For the sentiment, I used a banner from the new Blueprints 21 die-namics and I stamped a sentiment on it from the new Whimsical Wishes stamp set. I love the font in this set... so playful and fun! ;)

For my last card, I went a little more muted than I usually do to create a get well card using the new Whimsical Wishes stamp set. I love the scribble circle design and knew I wanted to white heat emboss it on white cardstock and add some ink to it.

I combined Sno Cone and Grout Gray dye inks to add colour to the card. I concentrated the gray over the circles and used the blue for the area in between. I haven't decided if I like the colours together or not lol! Sometimes when I look at it, it looks like it got dirt on it haha! ;)

I added some silver stickles and vellum sequins to the card and stamped the sentiment in between the two stamped panels. A little different than what I usually create, but I guess sometimes its good to just play around with products and see what happens! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 5 of the MFT New Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available on the My Favorite Things website at 10pm EST on December 2, 2014! Yay!!
