A Whimsy Challenge!

Hi folks!
here are a few things I've been working on lately, there are others but they are all DT stuff that I can't post yet. Not much new going on, just drooling over all of the CHA coverage and wishing I was there....*sigh* Maybe one of these years!

Here is my take on the first Whimsy sketch challenge put together by the lovely Frances Sylvia!


I'm just loving October Afternoon these days! This is from their Thrift Shop line :)

and this was a "just for fun" layout using some of my new Crafter's Workshop templates, a little Crate, a little Sass and a bit of Whimsy ;)

My apologies for the crappy photos, but my new light box and I are not seeing eye to eye and it hasn't been great weather the last few days to take photos outside! Yikes!

Not much to say tonight, got a bit of scrappin' done over the weekend, no Whimsy stuff though as I had planned....maybe this week :)

Come to think about it, I don't think I've left the house since I got in on Friday after work! haha No wonder I don't have much to chat about ;)

Scrap Yourself DT and a Winner!

Hi Folks,

Thank goodness the weekend is almost here! I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to sleeping in a bit tomorrow! This week has been a bit busy as we have the boys for the entire week....Dave's been off with them, and alas, I've been working! I'm hoping to have an entire day of scrapyness after the snoozefest....Melody Ross' Chip Art Tools have been winking at me lately...I'm really looking forward to giving them a try! My goodness, I bought almost the entire set of everything a few months ago and haven't even unpacked my mallet! LOL

Here is my last layout for the Scrap Yourself DT... get ready for a whole new team next week! The Blog posting format will be different this time around, and I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to some DAILY SY Inspiration! Creative Scrappers Reveal & Family Vacation planning

ok, I think its official...I am a scrappy gadget-girl! I just picked the Gypsy last night....and WOW! Love it! Haven't actually CUT anything yet, but it was so much fun playing with the different shapes, updating my Cricut and then loading my cartridges on it! I can't wait to start scrapping hehe


This last week or so has been spent on either the Whimsy shop, or DT stuff that I can't post yet, that's why I've been so quiet lately :)

We are getting ready for our vacation in August...its the end of July and we STILL aren't sure of where we are going, what we are doing! LOL When we have the boys for an entire week away, its often much easier on my sanity to just wing it. As long as we have an AC adapter in the car to charge every one's gadgets, we can go anywhere hehehe
