Reverse Confetti - Happy Fall-idays HALLOWEEN

Hey there, Reverse Confetti fans!
We have a special showcase event for you this week called Happy Fall-idays!
Today, we are featuring Halloween projects!

Here are the Reverse Confetti goodies that I used on my Halloween treat!

What a fun project to make!
After filling one of the Frosted Pillow Boxes with Candy Corn, I embellished with a layered Halloween themed topper!  The cat and skulls from Too Cute To Spook were stamped and cut with their coordinating Too Cute To Spook Confetti Cuts.  The Envie Wrap Confetti Cuts, Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts and Tag Me Confetti Cuts were nestled together with some Solid Twine to create a focal panel and finished look.

Make sure you check out what the other Reverse Confetti designers created for today's showcase!

Reverse Confetti June Creative Hop - Hooray For You

Hey there, 'Fetti Fans!
Guess what today is!!!  Eight is GREAT....Reverse Confetti Creative Hop Day!

You should've arrived here by way of the crazy talented, Amber Hight!  If not, start at the beginning of the hop at the Reverse Confetti Blog.

Our blog hop theme for today is Masculine ABC (Anything But a Card)....

I wanted to make a project for my son and came up with this masculine card design that I liked....but, how to create the ABC part, I was a little stuck.  After chatting with Jen, she gave me the idea of transforming the card to a Genie Bag.  Check out the Genie Bag Tutorial at Splitcoaststampers.com...it's SO easy...and so awesome!

A card and gift ... all in one ... and GUESS WHO wrote up this tutorial!...Jen del Muro, ABC Genius!

Here are the fabulously fun Reverse Confetti goodies that I used on my GENIE BAG today!

After layering lots of fun papers and Confetti Cuts together, this is what I came up with.   The yellow dotted Pina Colada - Quick Card Panel was stacked with some angled paper panels and became the main frame for the cluster of Tag Me Confetti Cuts, Winning Confetti Cuts and a twine wrapped clip embellishment.  The sentiment from Winning was stamped in navy ink and finishes off the bottom of the framed panel.

You can see a bit of white tissue paper peeking out of the top of the Genie Bag, ready for an iTunes gift card, my son's favorite gift.

Now, you're off to the next stop on the blog hop, Kay Miller, our fabulous 'Fetti Friend.
Thanks so much for stopping by the stage!

Light It Up Blue Blog Hop & Reverse Confetti Camera

Hey there, 'Fetti Fans!
It's time for a brand-new Reverse Confetti Camera theme...Anything Old Is New Again!

When I was first introduced to the magic of stamping back in 2007, Splitcoaststampers was the GO-TO place for paper-crafting ideas and techniques!  Today, I'm sharing one of the very first goodies that I learned to create, Sour Cream Container

Click HERE for the tutorial and video on how to make a fun Sour Cream Container of your own!

I adjusted the size a bit for this one, the paper was cut to 6" by 6" instead, so it's a bit longer than the one shown in the linked tutorial.  After cutting some fun Pebbles Homegrown paper and assembling into the fun treat container, I added a darling Reverse Confetti Folded Tag Confetti Cuts with The Buzz stamps and The Buzz Confetti Cuts with Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts.

Check out these fabulous Reverse Confetti stamps and Confetti Cuts that I used for the Sour Cream Container!

Join us for the Light It Up Blue Blog Hop to spread the word...World Autism Awareness Day!

As a special education teacher, I am thrilled to be part of this blog hop to share awareness of Autism.  If you are unfamiliar with this disorder, I encourage you to find out more!

Here is a link to Temple Grandin's website.  She shares personal life experiences with Autism and has been instrumental in educating about the disorder from her perspective.  You will find her information fascinating!

There are  so many fantastic sponsors that have shown their support for Autism Awareness and you can see the complete list here:

If you would like a chance to win a prize from one of these fabulous companies, leave a comment here on my blog and at any of the other blogs participating in today's hop!  Winners will be chosen at random and will be announced on Monday April 6th.

Watercolored Critter Trio - SRM Stickers

Hello there, SRM Stickers friends!
I'm up on the SRM Stickers Blog today's with a post dedicated to all things SPRING!

I created a quick trio of mini spring-themed cards that are all decked out in watercolor!

The Jane's Doodles Clear Stamp/Garden Friends has the cutest little animal images and sweet sentiments to create mini greeting cards in a snap!

To create these cuties, I simply stamped each animal image on watercolor paper with Versamark ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, and painted on some diluted distress inks.  After drying, I added a simple sentiment tag and wee little bows tied from The Twinery's Solid Peapod, Solid Denim and Solid Pink Sorbet Twine Spools.

I stacked the mini set of spring-themed cards up and tucked them inside of a Kraft Bag - 4x6 Embossed Chevron...ready for gift giving!
