Both of my cards today feature images and sentiments from this amazing new set!!
For my first card, the layout of which is an SCS Sketch Challenge, SC240, I stamped the JOY image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers! I added some highlights with a White Gel Pen to accent the image!
Notice the DELICIOUS papers on this card? The cardstock, patterned paper, ribbons AND the chipboard snowflake are ALL part of the Christmas Key Ingredients, also being released tomorrow! The patterned paper in this Key Ingredients is Jolly By Golly by Cosmo Cricket...need I say more? Pure F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S-N-E-S-S!!
This was the FIRST card I have ever sewn, and if you have been around my blog for the past week, you can tell that I REALLY love to sew on my cards now!! I even sewed around the circle panel on this card...that wasn't easy!
I colored the chipboard snowflake with Copic Markers, and added a button for some fun and interest. The button is BEAUTIFUL and is from Rhonna Christmas Buttons! These buttons, while not in the Christmas Key Ingredients, ARE available in the Very Merry Christmas Bundle, which is an AMAZING value!!
On the second card that I have to share with you today (and believe me...I WANTED to show you about 10 cards made with this set today!!), I stamped this ADORABLE birdhouse image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers. I added Liquid Applique to the snow on the birdhouse as well...LOVE the texture it adds!!
Once again, I used my sewing machine on this card (I am telling you...I am OBSESSED!!). The layout for this card is another SCS Sketch Challenge, SC242.
ALL the cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon and the chipboard snowflake are from the Christmas Key Ingredients (This KI totally ROCKS...I am totally going to stock up on these for my Christmas Cards this year!), and the button is available in the Very Merry Christmas Bundle!
For this one, I created a sentiment tag and adhered it under the snowflake! I just love the look of that!!
I am not sure if you can tell, but I stamped, in Versamark, two of the different snowflake patterns from this set onto the Island Mist Light and Classic Yellow Green Panels of my card! SO cute!!
You can check out the amazing creations that the Baker's Dozen have created with this set right here!!
and of course, Taylor VanBruggen!!!
Thanks SO much for stopping by! Be sure to stop back tomorrow for a peek of ANOTHER new TE set (which is totally awesome!!)!
