I recently won the Honey Bee Facebook challenge and purchased the adorable Forest Critters set. It worked perfectly for this little "heart day" wish!
The image was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers then blended. I recently hit an awesome sale on papers at JoAnn's which included this whimsical heart paper.
I would like to share my card with the following:

QKR Stampede: #385 Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday: #426 - #427 Anything Goes

Gerda Steiner and MFT Sketch #368
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and maybe got a little crafty.
Gerda Steiner hosts a monthly progressive challenge with a new adorable image. This month we were provided with this sweet Panda in Love digital image. If you are new to the challenge but want to join the fun you can purchase the image here. Create something fun using the image, post it on the challenge blog and next month you will receive the challenge image free. How fun is that??
My card started by printing the digital image onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White Cardstock and coloring with Spectrum Noir and Copic Markers. The current sketch from My Favorite Things was used as well.
The base panel was created using the new Valentine Foil Mates from Gina K. I LOVE this new line and such a fun technique! It's so simple as well. I simply layered a trimmed piece of deco foil onto the Foil Mate print of my choice. The layers were inserted into parchment then fed through my Scotch thermal laminator. The result is so professional!
I finished my card with a layer of vellum, silver cord and a small sentiment banner from Sweet 'n Sassy.
This card will be going into my stack for the Cards From the Heart Card Drive
sponsored by Winter Sims and her family. They are collecting Valentine
Cards for distribution to patients at local hospitals, foster homes and
a nursing home.
I'm also sharing with Cards for A Cause over at Splitcoast Stampers. They are sponsoring Winter's card drive for the month of January.

Graciellie Design January New Release - Floral Heart & Banners
I'm so excited to share a new digital set from Graciellie Design called Floral Heart & Banners. It's perfect for Valentine's, Anniversary or just because!
This beautiful digital set includes three sentiments and a lovely floral heart image. This set is available now for purchase in Gracie's Etsy shop.
My card started by printing the floral image and coordinating sentiment onto kraft cardstock then coloring with Prismacolor pencils. I love the effect! The panel was layered onto mulberry paper from my stash and Perfect Plum cardstock from Stampin' Up!
The card was finished with a machine stitched border and YUMMY coordinating ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by! You can find more inspiration by visiting Graciellie Design blog.

Unity Stamp Color Challenge & Cards From the Heart Card Drive
I wanted to join the current color challenge hosted by Unity on their Facebook page. Love the blues and reds together! This little image by Phyllis Harris called So Very Much arrived in my last Unity order. I thought it would be perfect for a sweet Valentine's card.
The image was stamped onto Copic 70 lbs marker paper and colored with Copic Markers. (Copics used: W1,W3,W5,E53, E35, E33,B02 and R29) The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy and the panel was layered onto designer papers from Little Yellow Bicycle called Just Because. My only embellishment is a coordinating Baker's Twine bow.
This card will be going into my stack for the Cards From the Heart Card Drive sponsored by Winter Sims and her family. They are collecting Valentine Cards for distribution to patients at local hospitals, foster homes and a nursing home.
If you are interested in participating be sure to visit Winter's blog for all of the details. She also needs our cards by January 25 for a timely distribution.

Unity Friends with Flair
Happy Friday! It's time again for the Friends with Flair blog hop sponsored by Unity Stamps. Angela, owner of Unity, has had some fabulous sales and I recently got in on the "free set with purchase" sale. One of the freebies was an itty bitty set called "Skip A Beat". The bg panel was created using another freebie "Misplaced Chevron" and the emboss resist technique.
Here's what I came up with:
Isn't this such a fun image! (Shhh! This cutie will be going into a drawer as a Valentine to my DH!) Don't forget to link up your recent Unity stamp creation. There are two random winners each week - one from blog participation and another from the blog comments.

I also have to share!! I was a randomly selected lucky winner recently. My prize arrived earlier this week and what a
surprise when I opened the envelope to find not only one stamp set, but 25
stamps!! I was so excited that I had to view them all right away. I am new to Unity so these are a perfect addition to my
collection.
You could be the next lucky winner!!
