TLC - It's A Jungle out There Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to TLC Design Team - It's A Jungle Out There Blog Hop!

Paulette and the TLC Creations Design Team have lots of inspiration and goodies to share with you today!  If you arrived here from Create with TLC blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning at the Create with TLC blog and hop from there so you don't miss a single thing!

Paulette has generously provided each design team member with a fun jungle themed Vintage image.  Below is the project that I created using "Woodcut Bird in Flight" image:

I decided to make my very first stamped candle with the image I was provided.  I printed the image onto tissue paper and followed this fabulous tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.  It was super easy and will make a great Thank You gift.  I printed the image one time on cardstock to make the 1 3/4 inch square tag.

Below is the image that I used for my project:
Of course, the digital images we have used on our creations are available as freebies that you can pick up at every stop.  --->  To download the images, simply click on the image then right click and save it to your computer.

Thanks for hopping by!  Your next stop is Hetty and I know she will have some fabulous to share with you today. In case you get lost along the way, here is the complete TLC design team list:

Mo's Challenge 138 - Anything Goes

This is my submission for this week's challenge over on the Mo's Challenge Blog.  Our challenge was an easy one this week:  Anything Goes with a Mo Image!  I've been waiting for the perfect challenge to color up this sweet little image called "Bubbles Girl".  Of course, I combined one of the pups from "Lazy Mutt" and it seemed the perfect pairing!

The girl image was colored with Copic Markers.  The sleeping pup was colored with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil.  The background of the main panel was sponged with Memento Dandelion ink.  Stampin' Up Crystal Effects was added to the bubbles after coloring with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is a freebie from the Create With TLC blog.

We are having a rainy day here in Anchorage.  A perfect night to color and play!  Hope you have a chance to be creative this week.  Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look!

Sassy Cheryl #91 - Anything Goes!

The ladies over on the Sassy Cheryl Digi Challenge Blog hasLinkgiven us free reign again this week. I'm glad since I needed a Birthday card and the "Sneaky Cupcake Bear" was on my desk ready to finish and put together.

This fun digi was colored with Copic markers and Stampin' Up Dazzling Diamonds glitter added to the frosting. The sentiment is also digital. I bought it from Pauline over on the TLC blog. It compliments the image perfectly, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! I always enjoy reading all of your comments.

Sassy Cheryl #87 - Pink and a Bit of Inspiration

This week Sassy Dawn asked us to use the inspiration photo above and a bit of pink. Below is what I came up with using Cheryl's "Sneaky Birthday Bear" image.
Sorry, the photo makes the card base look reddish, but it's really a deep pink (SU Melon Mambo) with a layer of Crushed Curry. The sentiment came in a birthday greeting word art set from TLC. By sheer luck, I managed to layer them together in Microsoft Word. I made myself notes, but I'll probably never be able to do it again!!

Thanks for stopping by to take a look! This is also for this month's Hope You Can Cling To Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers. All of the cards we make this month are being sent to the MD Anderson cancer center in Houston, Texas for patients and their visitors.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #80

Judy's challenge for us this week is "Wrap it, bag it, box it" and I decided to make a wrap for a skein of yarn with the "Little Knitter" image. She has been combined with a Free sentiment image from Create with TLC that you can find HERE.

The image has been colored with Copic Markers and oval Spellbinder die cuts used for the image and base. Below is a close up of the image and sentiment.

Fun challenge! Thanks for stopping by to take a look.
