House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #310

I'm joining the current challenge at House-Mouse and Friends with this fun easel card.  My card features a Stampendous House Mouse image called Blowing Bubbles.  

The image was stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow Markers.  I used distress ink to watercolor the bubbles.
Birthday papers are from My Minds Eye and the bubbles die is from Sizzix.

A few enamel dots and sentiment from Hampton Arts finish the card.

Di's Digi Design Challenge - Use a Digi Image

I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Designs with this adorable digital called Ruff You from Di's store.  The image was colored with Copic and Azure markers then fussy cut.  Charcoal pencil was blended for highlighting and Stickles applied to the flower center.

A birthday sentiment from Stampin' Up! and a few enamel dots finish the card.  Bright, cheerful papers from Doodlebug Design Hello Sunshine were the perfect background.  The design inspiration came from the current Mojo Monday sketch.

AAA Card Challenge #159 One Corner + Older Supplies

While searching through my stash this week I came across an older set from There She Goes clear stamps called "Ruh-roh".  Sadly, Jessica closed TSG back in 2013, but this cute set lives on!  It was also worked perfectly for the current AAA Cards challenge.

This sweet set was designed by Torico (Birdie Brown) who currently designs for My Favorite Things.  I stamped my little scene in the corner of a 4.25 square card base.  It was colored with Copic and Azure markers.

My scene features the color combo from this weekend's color challenge at the Christian Cardmakers Facebook Group.

Art Impressions Challenge #276 - Movers & Shakers

I'm joining the current Movers & Shakers challenge at Art Impressions with a retired set from the Shake Your Booty line called To The End.  I love the happy expression on the pups face!

The pup was stamped onto water color paper then colored with Tombow markers and a blending pen.  I couldn't resist using the dog house die from Honey Bee with the pup.  He was the perfect size!

The "booty" was popped up with an AI mini action wobble.  The coordinating birthday sentiment was computer generated.  

The finished card size is 4.25 square.  This will be going into my Birthday card stash for a dog lover in my family.

My Favorite Things Sketch and Color Challenge

I'm sharing tonight with the sketch and color challenges at My Favorite Things.  I recently ordered the adorable Sunflower Sweetheart set by Birdie Brown.  I stamped one of the main images and colored with Copic Markers.  It worked perfectly for the sketch.

Clean and Simple Birthday

I'm stopping in tonight to share a clean and simple birthday card for a few challenges.  A Blog Named Hero is hosting a birthday challenge this month.  It's always nice to have a gender neutral card on hand for birthdays!  I pulled out a couple of older Hero Arts woodmounted stamps -- A007 Birthday Candle and C2770 Enjoy Your Birthday. 

A new challenge started over at AAA Cards which worked perfectly with the older Hero Arts stamps.  It was also fun to challenge myself to keep my birthday creation to one corner!

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #309 - Anything Goes

I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge with this adorable stamp.  The stamp is called Lavender Birdfeeder.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  The cloudy sky was masked with a scallop die then sponged with Memento ink.

This is a really large stamp.  The final card size is 5.75 x 4.50 I love the expression on the hummingbird as he catches the mouse partaking of their dinner!  It really makes me smile.

I could not participate in the optional hearts, but chose to make this a birthday card.   I think this will put give the recipient (who happens to be a gardner) a chuckle as well.

Honey Bee Forest Critters

I recently won the Honey Bee Facebook challenge and purchased the adorable Forest Critters set.  It worked perfectly for this little "heart day" wish!

The image was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers then blended.  I recently hit an awesome sale on papers at JoAnn's which included this whimsical heart paper.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #288 - Love (with a Mo Image)

I'm joining the February challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil which is "Love".  My card features Mo's adorable LoveBirdz digital image in this Anniversary card.  I have a couple of lucky couples in my family who celebrate their wedding anniversary in February.  

The image was colored with Prismacolor pencil and blended.  Copic markers were used for the limb and breast of the birds.  I pulled several papers from my stash to follow the current Mojo Sketch design.  I LOVE these sketches and they really inspire me.  The final small panel is vellum.  Ribbon and a sentiment from Stampin' Up finish the card.

My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #475

Sharing an entry for the current sketch challenge at My Favorite Things featuring several MFT die-namics.  A retired flower die was used with various scraps of gingham for the focal point.  The Leafy flourish die was cut with vellum.  Finally, the Happy Birthday circle frame was cut in black card stock.  

All of the dies were arranged and layered onto scrap papers from my stash.  Gems and pearls finish the card.

A Blog Named Hero January Challenge - Anything Goes

I'm joining the January challenge at A Blog Named Hero with a clean and simple Birthday card.  This is an older wood mount stamp from Hero Arts called It's A Parade.  I love the whimsical feel of the children and little dog!

I started by masking a strip at the bottom and sponged distress ink then spritzed with water.  I followed with sponging distress inks with a stencil from My Favorite Things called Ray of Light.  A few sequins and sentiment from Stampin' Up finish the card.

AAA Cards Clean and Simple Challenge #158

Have you ever found a design or card style that really inspired you?  I am having a really fun time creating clean and simple designs lately.  I'm joining the AAA Cards challenge again today with a One Third CAS design.  The stamp is an older wood mounted Stampendous design called Beachfront Boat.

I started the card by masking a narrow area of the card base then sponging various inks for the sky, water and sand.  I then stamped the image using VersaFine Clair ink.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the star is from my stash.

This card will be going to my sister for her birthday next week.  It was inspired by our recent cruise together to the Caribbean.   We had a great time and the beaches were beautiful!

I'm sharing a fun clean and simple design for the current Share the Love challenge at Your Next Stamp.  I have used a couple of cute fish from the YNS Aquarium Antics for this love themed project.  

The images were stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow markers.  They were die cut and adhered to a distress ink panel.  A coordinating sentiment finishes the card.

Di's Digi Challenge - All About Love

Di's Digi Challenge is All About Love for the next couple of weeks.  I know most will focus on Valentine's, but I decided to color Di's sweet Tender Moments digi stamp and use it as an Anniversary card.  Be sure to check the shop as the image is currently on sale for $2.50.

I colored the image with Copic Markers and sponged the sky with Memento Danube Blue ink.  My goal this year is to use designer papers from my ever growing stash.  I just can't seem to resist pretty papers!  These coordinating papers are from Dear Lizzy's Lucky Charm paper pad.

The dimensional flower is from my stash as well.  I pulled out a Verve leaf die, enamel dots and sentiment from Sweet 'n Sassy to finish the card.

Christian CardMakers Challenge

The weekend challenge over at the Christian Cardmakers FB group is to color this lovely Scripture Printable.  I had so much fun coloring then went a little crazy with scrap polka dots!!  Still Fun!

The printable is from Jennifer Flanders blog.  She has many lovely Scripture printable pages available.  What a great reminder to rejoice every day because the Lord has made it!

I'm joining the current House-Mouse & Friends challenge with this sweet Stampendous Spring Sweet stamp.  I don't often work with purples, but I really like how this one turned out!

I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and colored with Tombow markers.  The image was layered on Basic Grey Wisteria designer paper.

The card was finished with a few lavender pearls and a birthday sentiment from SugarPea Designs stamped onto a tag with bakers twine.
