Kimmie's challenge#2 & CBCC#24

Kimmie's challenge # 2 was a sketch challenge and to use embossing. For my card I used another doodle factory stamp this one is of the adorable robot named blip from the urban set. I used my cuddle bug embossing folder then sanded it so the white shows through. I also had to add the hugs stamp so I can use it as a valentine card for Courtney's challenge #24 to make a masculine valentine. Thanks for visiting.

dp-cogsmo(cosmo cricket)
cs-white(gp)
supplies-ribbon(offray), brads(oriental trading co), cuddle bug embossing folder(provo craft), copic makers, edge distresser(ctmh).

CBCC #22 Tuesday

I never get challenges done on the day they are given it always takes me a few days to get to it. This week Courtney's challenge was a sketch challenge and as you can see I didn't really follow it exactly. I however I put three rhinestones at the bottom that can count right? I just thought it looked more elegant than putting buttons or just the rhinestones. The sentiment is a rub-on so this is a no stamping card, crazy I don't make those very often. Any way hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting.

What I used
DP-dcwv
CS-sweet leaf, chocolate(ctmh)
supplies-ribbon (offray), charm (walmart), rub-on(ctmh), chipboard flourish (scrapworks), rhinestones(unknown)

CBC # 21

Ok I admit it I'm a New kids on the Block fan so when Courtney's CBC challenge #21 this week was to make a card from the music you listen to I thought of this CD. The card is not really my style but I kinda like it. I used snss chocoholic stamp set for my card. The sentiment was embossed in sliver embossing powder but it looks all blurry and smooshed together in the photo. The funny thing about this card is I had planed on using different ribbon that was white with poke a dots in all the colors in my card but I couldn't find it. I had it out the day before but it went missing so after I looked for an hour (not kidding) I gave up and used my black with white dots ribbon and used my copics to color them pink and yellow, and wouldn't ya know I found the ribbon I was looking for as soon as I had taken the photo of this card go figure. LOL. Well I hope you have a great day and thanks for visiting.

What I used
stamps-chocoholic(snss)
ink-black graphite(brilliance), bubblegum, dutch blue, sunny yellow(CTMH)
dp-provo craft
cs-black(ctmh), white(GP)
supplies-button dutch blue(CTMH), ribbon(American crafts), copic markers.

I love you!

Here is a cute valentines card I made for the created by Courtney challenge #20 her challenge is reduce, reuse, recycle so I took the lid to the container of almond roca and used my sizzix and book plates die cut and cut out the red plastic label seen at the bottom of my card. The stamp is changito's love balloon by stampendous. I colored it in with my copics the balloon has glitter and glossy accents on it. For the red felt heart at the bottom it was actually a flower that I cut into a heart. Hope you enjoy and have a great day.

What I used
stamps-changito's love balloon(stampendous),In my heart(ctmh)
ink-noir black(palette), cranberry(ctmh)
dp-quite smitten cupid straight arrows, quite smitten so in love(my minds eye)
cs-cranberry, chocolate(ctmh)white(GP)
supplies-plastic lid, sizzix, die cut book plates, white flower, felt flower and rhinestones (from my stash) ribbon chocolate (ctmh), copic markers, glitter, glossy accents.
