Over the last week or so, Lily has mastered pedaling her tricycle. She showed off her skills for me Sunday night before getting ready for bed. She is quite a proficient peddler, but her riding is quite stop and go as she's watching out for bad guys, wanting to stop at the neighbors house, and just chatting! Here are two videos of her riding. The first is very short, but shows her cruising along, going up the slight grade of our neighbor's driveway. The second video is a little bit longer, and you can see some of her silliness!

Wow! Lily is doing so great. Ava still can't master the pedaling thing because her legs aren't long enough. Lily's speech is amazing too! Ava still isn't putting more than 2 words together. I LOVE listening to Lily's laugh in second video. She is truly enjoying her cycling experience--it brings tears to my eyes when I think about where she came from and the life that should would have had if she hadn't come home with your family. That laugh says it all about how happy she is with you! AMAZING!

I had a lot of catching up to do on your blog. I love all the birthday pictures, cakes, swimming fun. The photo you entered is gorgeous!...I mean handsome. Love the photo of Lily taken by an admirer too; she's a doll! The videos on the bike were so cute. Eliza came running when she heard me playing it. She stood and watched and then brought me her sneakers (meaning, let's go ride my bike). Lily's voice is so sweet and that laugh and silliness is a hoot. She cracks me up! What a sense of humor! Great posts.
