New sneaker auctions at Sotheby's

Over the past few years the prestigious auction house Sotheby's has been selling more and 

more sneakers. Some very random stuff, but also some beautiful gems like the following 

Nike Co-Founder Bill Bowerman 1960s Pre-Nike Handmade Black and Blue Track Spikes 

the hand-cobbled 1972 Nike Moon Shoe 

or these 1984 Nike Air Ship.

An 'interesting' development and more proof that the sneaker craze is not going anywhere 

soon except everywhere.

Solemart goes Panke

Last Weekend Nike and Sneakers Magazine hosted a sneaker live 
auktion for 35 hot archive shoes at the Boateng Space Panke in 
Berlin, Wedding. Tony Toupet and myself supported with a little info 
on the auction pieces and Bianca did a great job as a charming host 
and auctioneer.
All together almost 10 000,-€  were raised for the social organisation 
Outreach!

SOLEMART kommt Panke

SOLEMART und SNEAKERS MAGAZIN hosten am Abend des Solemarts gemeinsam 
eine NIKE SNEAKER AUKTION. 40 Most-Wanted Sneaker der letzen 6 Jahre - von 
Hello Kitty Presto über Patta Burgundy AM1 bis Yeezy - werden an den 
Höchstbietenden versteigert.

Schon Tagsüber könnt ihr auf dem SOLEMART bei mir besondere Collector Items 
aus dem Nike Archiv als Schnäppchen ergattern, hier ist auch die Registrierung 
für die Auktion möglich.
Nach dem Solemart steht ein Shuttle Bus bereit, der alle Gäste zur Auktion 
bringt. Diese findet in Wedding auf der PANKE im neuen Nike Boateng Space 
statt. Alle Erlöse der Auktion gehen an die soziale Einrichtung Outreach.
