NST came out / reprinted the NST in 1957 a few days before the 31st. So, during the trip to KK, I managed to flip thru it. Its kind of going back through the years- I think if I was at my grandma place, sitting at the window, drinking kopi o and reading this newspaper, I would definitely feel myself going back in time.

merdeka yuhu..to me it's just anoter holiday. not that i am not-bersyukur-punya worang, but then i think there is soo many things in this country that i dont like (about to say despised then i think it would sound too harsh). i wish the politicians are not so money oriented, i hope for better public transportation in the country, i hope for lower fuel price, i hope the minimum wage/salary can be increased..bla bla bla..syahduu

tapi kan, i will really tangkap syahdu everytime a merdeka or raya ad comes out on tv lah. the ala2 yasmin leo burnettish ones. apasal ntah aku ni. emo tak tentu arah sometimes tapi kalau benda yang patut di emokan aku tak emo pulak.
