In the latest and greatest stage of development, Ollie has begun some imaginative play. He feeds lamb, puppy, McQueen, or bus (some of his favorite toys) bananas, pretzels, raisins, or whatever else he's snacking on. His bus obsession continues, so much so that he told the phone this morning, "the Bus! Car!" followed by some unintelligible phrases.
We're in the middle of Ollie's first ear infection. Knew that one had to come sometime. Fortunately, I think that we caught it early enough to avoid the super bad middle of the night high fever.
We're excited for a visit from the family in just a couple of weeks. We've told Ollie that Aunt Becky, Uncle Chris, Grandma, Grandpa, Alex, Sarah, and Katie are visiting soon, but all he seems to care about is his cousin Katie. She's four months younger than he is and they really hit it off. When they all get here, I'm sure that he'll be pumped to see the rest of the folks as well. We're blessed to have some great friends for Ollie, but there's something extra special about cousins. We can't wait to have them here!
Hope all is well with everyone. Drop us a line anytime and let us know how you are!
Take Care,
Dori
