After two days in London, Ollie was ready to sleep anywhere. Sleeping children are so peaceful, aren't they? We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Spaulding, visiting the Natural History Museum and the Churchill War Rooms. Ollie had a fabulous time with the grandparents. Come back soon!!
The man is still a ton of fun. Ollie has definite ideas about what he does and doesn't want. He does like to watch Elmo (five-minute podcasts) and he does NOT like any type of clothing/diaper change. It slows down playtime to much. He really likes his books and will sit in a laundry basket on top of a pillow with Elmo, lamb, a blanket, and a few books while I shower or straighten the room.
We've hit another milestone this week. For the first time, Ollie used the potty. We've had many episodes where he says that he wants to use it just after a bath, only to have him pee all over the floor. It was nice to hit the bulls eye for once. We're in no rush to complete the training, but if he asks to use the potty who am I to deny him!
Keep an eye out for some great pics. We had a session with the fabulous Tara Lohse while the folks were in town. The sky was blue and the sun was shining...can't get better than that!
