wa. today was rather fun =D
woke up at 0530 today, so that i could go to east coast to watch the sunrise with LEONG and ian.
yeah, rather weird for me to be doing all these you all might say, but well, its not very often that you wake up early to watch the sunrise at some far away (okay not that far la) place with two psycho cases. yep. LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE. sort of.
so thanks to IAN's mother, we managed to make it there before the sun came up. hoho.
LEONG the genius also managed to end up on the wrong side of orchard road when we went to pick him up. well, he insists that ian gave him the wrong directions, while ian insists that leong could not understand instructions clearly...
well, whoever is right, it doesn't matter. remember that show...When Harry Met Sally? well, today, it was "when psycho met dumbo" =D
hahaha. then at the beach, ian set up his tripod to take some shots of the sun rising. hmm the place where we dropped, near macs there, was rather near to the final approach leg of the landing pattern at changi airport to either 02L, 02R or 02C. so every few minutes this nice plane would come in for landing. saw lots of 777s there =)
ian has a rather amusing way of using his tripod. asides from the usual way, he'd walk around holding 2 legs of the tripod to take photos. very strange indeed...photos are DOWN THERE
yep. then we proceeded to macs for breakfast. somehow, LEONG was paying for ian's food. and when leong was calculating, or rather was attempting to calculate how much ian owed him, he let out an interesting comment...
"change...how to count?"
LEONG my friends, is indeed a GENIUS. with a capital J. JENIUS!
after that, we took a long walk, as we searched for the nearest BUS STOP. then we took 16 to orchard, where we spent the rest of the day doing strange but unproductive activities..
oh at one point we ended up at orchard MRT popular. somehow, 2 mynahs also managed to make their way in, i have no idea how. they were cheeping loudly and kicking up all the dust when they landed on the lights and ventilation shafts on the ceiling. it was also rather amusing watching the reactions of some people to the presence of the birds. BIRD!
then we went home. so i'm here. PICTURE!
