blah. chinese test was dumb.

the stupid comprehension was incomprehensible. and dumb as well..i begin to doubt the effectiveness of chinese tests. every test since P4 has been the same format, same level of incomprehensibility. all i do is match the question to the specific paragraph where the words in the qn and the passage look similar, and copy the entire paragraph down. i think of the 100 over comprehensions i did since p4, i don't think i read a single one >.< eh. and that includes the PSLE one. probably thats why i got an A for chinese while almost everyone else got A*

cheese bun. the cloze passage is the same story. but prolly it started from P1. never read the thing. just look at the words around the thing and guess. and i prolly never passed a single cloze passage since sec 1...woot.

oh well. quotes again =D

some time ago, nat and chew and i were talking abt someone who was making lame jokes the day before...

"...ya, his jokes are as lame as yours" - chew
"ya right...i'm like, totally funny" - Neh neh nail.

during bio today, we were doing FOOOD TEST.

after doing the starch test on a test tube filled with starch...
"Hey! this starch contains starch!" - Ian Lin

and while doing the benedict's test, ian turns and looks at his boiling tube, and says very loudly...
"WA! GOT COLOUR!" - Ian Lin

how quaint

Friday, March 25, 2005

today is GOOD Friday. so its good.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." - John 3:16-17 (NKJV)

"For He taught His disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day." Mark 9:31 (NKJV)

yep. and today commemorates His supreme act of sacrifice to save us all. thats why it is GOOD.

haven't been blogging recently. cuz there hasn't been anything interesting to blog. the whole place has been rather smokey...

i plonked a cute yellow duck over yonder. how exciting

goodbye.

hmm...just remembered a few quotes =D

"Hey...this guy looks like a guy" - jeremy foo

"I will never buy tampons" - Ian Lin. i wonder why he even thought of buying them in the first place o.O

oh. this one was on board the cruise. we were still at port and the ship wasn't moving, and me, ian and henry were at the galaxy of the stars bar thing on top.

"hey, the ship is moving!" - henry
"where got?" - me, and i looked out of the window. it obviously wasn't moving
"it is!" - henry points to this glass column at the bar counter where a model ship was rotating in it.

how lame henry.

oh yes. another one from IAN.

"hmm. i always thought mass comm(unications) was line dancing" - Ian Lin

haha. what a lousy excuse for a post >.<

arr. killed my thighs and calves and my fingers today.. but it was rather fun.

Woke up rather late in the morning and rushed off to school to meet mister CHEW. who had to pass up his zhuan ti zuo ye...which was like uh...3 weeks late or smth. ha ha. so i arrived in school at 0900. then the first person i met there was WESLEY. he was going to go home from his BB camp. how interesting. then i met the 2 ians, and then chew downstairs at the SAC, running away from NP people as usual. haii. oh oh. we also saw ian cheong's art pieces downstairs. surprisingly, only one of them looks like his usual 'anyhowsplashpaintandotherstuffonthepaper' kind of painting. then we met HENRY. he ALSO never do his stupid zhuan ti zuo ye, so he just passed it up today. wahaha. stupid people.

oh. that ian lin forgot to bring his tennis rackets..so 3 of us and henry went all the way to his house to take the rackets. ian lin's baby sister is rather interesting..we tried to make her do the...vibrating lip thing. but to no avail. it was rather fun though. oh well.

so we all went to chew's condo and played tennis. i managed to hit 5 balls out of the court today. how exciting. oh yar. i even managed to fire 3 balls at the telecoms building next to the condo and make it bounce back in. well. only 1 of them bounced back in actually..the other 2 bounced back into the compound but not in the courts...ian lin has a video of that...

then we went for lunch at some water theme park and stadium thing near his house. it was rather interesting...many many people queueing up to go in, as according to chew, the entrance fee is only $1. while we were having lunch, we were overlooking a wave pool thing with some ppl swimming in it. ian lin and the fantastic idea of building a water theme park with a wave pool next time, and he can sit in some control room, and press some button that makes the wave generator make a super big wave and washes everyone all over the place. and of course have CCTV cameras installed all over the place so that he can go laugh at them. hoho

then we went back and played squash till 5. and went home. man...whoever invented 1)100-plus 2) vending machines 3) dial-a-coke, are geniuses. i drank 5 cans of 100 plus and half a bottle of 100 plus orange today. its just so nice to drink it when you're all hot and sweaty and exhausted.

man. today was fun...and henry is dumb =D

oh yar. about the cruise...i don't think i'm gonna blog abt it. too lazy >.<

Friday, March 11, 2005

ay! i'm BACK from the cruise thing

my butt feels weird cuz my wallet has been in my back pocket for the past 1 1/2 days cuz my pants did not have any other pocket...never carried anything there usually.

ah. so now, its rather customary to tell you all how the cruise was.

so where shall i start...

hmm. so at 19oohrs on wednesday, i arrived at harbourfront centre..the first other ACS guy i saw there was none other then perry lam. lol. so i made my way to our meeting place in front of the ticketing counters at singapore cruise centre.

continue tmr. REHMAN-BHAI!

Wednesday, March 09, 2005

I'M HERE.

blah. we're going for the cruise today...how interesting..i do not have any long sleeved shirts now. raaa. And i just remembered, that i left my small bag in school so i can't use that for the cruise. how dumb. Argh. i got Bio and POD work to finish by today...oh ya. and that futurescape thing also...ahhh.

oh well. it should be fun of course...we'll see what happens next

hahaha. have any of you actually watched on kids central, this band of 4 ppl trying to imitate hi-5 to a certain extent? ian lin, chew and me saw it on tv mobile yesterday... one dumb guy that was dressed in a super nerd/dumb costume going "BAA!" all over the screen. and the word BAA even pops out next to him when he says there. BUH.

and after that, there was this part where that same dumb guy became "agent double zero zero" or "Frankie". dunno wad the context was, but he ended up playing with pots and pans and using them to do dumb stuff like flap his arms around while holding on to pots and using the pans as guitars. after that they proceeded to sing some lame song. the floor is tagged with lots of "OK!" words. anyone remember what this show is called?

oh ya. then at chews house, we played golf. without the golf balls. and without the clubs too. you can go see it at ian lin's blog. yep.

oh well. i think i'd better get down to doing all my work now. HNGGGN.

see you all on friday and God bless =)

wahaha. a math test got pushed forward to tmr

yes. i have managed to understand/redo every question in the rates of change and SMALL CHANGE worksheet. and the differentiation one also. i should be doing okay for my a math test tmr then =D

ar..today we had some R&J play after school today. it was rather interesting. unfortunately, around halfway during the play, the air suddenly became stale. and i was next to the source of the staleness. Wesley was on my left, breathing in and out with his mouth, and all the stale air emancipating from it caused me to ask CHEW for one of his cool round liquid mints thing that cannot be bought in singapore. whatever it is. thankfully, wesley leaned onto the other side after a while, and the air was fresh again. argh.

yesterday, we had our combined ACS founders day celebrations. it was rather boring...i spent almost all my time reading/studying my a math. the only interesting parts was when we did the WAVE. the sort of thing where this whole bunch of people stand up and put their arms in the air and sit down one by one...so it looks like a wave when a lot of people do it...you probably know what it is la. they do it at national day parade all the time.

anyway, what made it interesting was everyone started throwing their programme booklets into the air, and they all fell and whacked other people on the head or smth. The best thing was, ian lin, who was next to me, had this whole stack of booklets, as he was giving out to the rest of the class and there was left over. so we had multiple waves, and we din have to worry about re-catching our programme booklets. so every wave, we throw one very high up in some random direction and take cover from the rain of books that would soon come =D

"yep...ACS people are insane" - some random guy as a book landed on him.

oh and they released these huge balloons that we were supposed to pass down the entire stadium by whacking it. out of the 6 balloons, 5 of them burst..and at least 4 of them were burst at the acsi section. man. i wonder what those ppl were doing.

oh ya. while i was reading my a math. the people behind me apparently noticed it.

"eh...this guy is gep isit? whole day read his a math" - guy right behind me
"of course la. a math is like drugs to them" - another guy behind me.

lol. strange people. i was only reading cuz we had a test to study for. and those people were very entertaining throughout the celebrations...talking about bombing the ruggers/acps and acjs people, and also talking about the ACJC girls >.<

strange!

argh. still got chem and physics to study for. how horrible. 3 tests and 1 ting xie tmr.

i shall go DO WORK now.

paat.
