Shooting Competition 11/14/2002
Sigh...nva write for so long liaoz...anyway holiday every day do same thing...eat breakfast, play computer, eat lunch, play com, haf tea, play com, haf dinner, study, play com, sms and tok to ppl, then sleep...sigh...sho boliao...oh well today we had ncc shooting comp...I had lunch at 11 and prepared to leave for yio chu kang MRT, but i remembered my mum packed my army socks into the luggage to canada, as it was very thick and nice. so me and my dad unpacked almost all the luggage to find the socks, and he was very angry cuz yesterday i din get ready. anyway cannot wad, i went out wif ian cheong and ian lin to watch the sneak preview of harry potter: the chamber of secrets. anyway we found the socks and we left at abt 11:30.

At yio chu kang MRT station, i met clement first... then dickson and ian lin came...sigh i fink the best shooter in our platoon, chu hua, din come...sho sad


Oh well...for details on how the scores are calculated, check out my prev entry...i was in the first detail, lane 8...haha luckily i switched position wif ian lin before we wrote our names down, and since the screen is smaller than the lanes, i had to aim more to the left, while ian had to aim even more to the left =p...oh well my score was 2.9cm, 3.1cm, 3.9cm and 4.3cm(not in order...total of 14.2cm... one time ian got 1.1cm ok...sho good...but overall i beat him by i fink 0.4cm(so he got 14.6cm) or something liddat...i think...results not out yet so dunno...after that there was the traditional NCC way of wasting time...we sat there doing nothing for 2 and a half hours doing nothing, supposedly waiting for the results...sigh dickson and clement shot so badly...scores of lyk 30cm...sigh i fink our team cannot win liao...hope can win individual one... then after the waste of time, we went home... twee


Sigh...leaving for canada tomorrow...flight at 0835hrs...hope the plane dun get hijacked or crash into pacific ocean... bye bye all...back on 25th...

Shooting Training... 11/6/2002
oh well dis happened yesterday...i was too tired to write yesterday... i got up at 0530hrs and ran around the place for fun...0630 i had breakfast, 0700 i left for Yio chu kang MRT station...sigh i wore my no 4 without folding the sleeves, so i had to go toilet there to fold it all the way up...in the end it appeared that e only ppl from acsi ncc sea dat came for the thing today were me and ian lin...oh well i dun care...

then the stupid comfort bus came to pick us up and dropped us at nee soon army camp, and the army man there told us all the safety thingy and crap...there were 20 ranges, 10m real distance, 15m simulated distance, so it is 25m altogether. The weapon was a demilitarized M-16A1 with an IR thingy in the barrel and compressed C02 for the simulated recoil. We each had 6 magazines of 4 rounds each, and each magazine we had to fire the 4 rounds as close to each other as possible at the 'canadian bull' target, which was an 'n' shaped thingy...to pass a magazine u hafta get all ur shots not farther than 6cm from each other, and for a marksman classification, u need to get all the shots within 3cm of each other...


I was in the 4th detail, which was the 4th group of 20 shooters that fired lor...there was this female shooter in the 4th range, 1st detail, that fired shots up to 28.5cm apart and missed the target by 111 over cm...lol i guess gals shouldn't shoot =p...oh well then me and ian took the 5th range, and he was in the 3rd detail and i was in 4th. he fired 3.9cm, 4.9cm, 5.5cm, 7.5cm, 7.8cm and 11.7cm(not in order), while i fired 4.1cm, 5.1cm, 5.5cm, 7.2cm, 10.1 and 11.1cm(not in order again)...in the marksmanship comp u only haf 4 mags so for ur score they take the 4 best ones added together. Ian got 21.8cm while i got 21.9cm so he beat me by 0.1cm... boo hoo...but overall he still beat me by a lot...aaahh...


After the thing, we got transport back to yio chu kang MRt again and we changed into civillian clothes there...we kept throwing things like newspaper into each other's cubicles while changing...so fun...then we went to meet cow at taka, then jennifer came...lol cow was jealous that jen had a 7210...hmph i only haf a 3330...cow has a 6510 still wanna be so jealous...then ian,cow and i went to some places at orchard to find itching powder for dunno wad...in the end cow and many other ppl had this farewell dinner thingy so i went home...


Sigh at nite so weird...while i was readin papers my dad came to tell me to study chinese, becuz i kept failing all my hcl tests...he kept telling me stuff like if i fail again u better quit and all that stuff...sighz...holiday also cannot rest one...
